I should start off by explaining that I planted the Insomnia two weeks ago along with 3 other seeds that didn't make it. I think temperatures were too high and I also planted a couple of them too deep. So now that temps have dropped slightly and I corrected my mistakes, they're all doing fine.

Insomnia 2 weeks old.

Not much to report this week. Thankfully everything seems to be going swimmingly. :thumb: Started the Insomnia on the grow nutes and the little ones had a small helping of the root stimulant. They're all looking happy and healthy.

Insomnia 21 days.

Safe to say I'm feeling a lot more patient this time round now that I have some nice buds to enjoy during the process. Having said that, I'm also a little more forgetful for obvious reasons. :laughtwo:

Happy to say it's been another good week with very few issues, just hoping it stays that way. :dude-knocking: The Insomnia got tied down (LST) on day 24 and is exploding with new growth. She's also developing a lovely sweet spearmint smell. The Cheese seemed to forget to grow the central finger of her first set of leaves but she's slowly catching up now. The Northern Lights is a little taller than I'd like her to be at this stage but another week or so and she'll be getting tied down anyway. And last but not least, the Matanuska which has been growing perfectly. :thumb:

Good one! A friend of mine did something similar, and I'm also considering it. A self supporting fabric pot sounds pretty ideal.

So far, I would definitely recommend it NC. :thumb: The white shirts are slowly turning brown but otherwise no complaints. All the benefits of a fabric pot for a fraction of the price.

Apart from a couple of cloudy days this week, things are going great. The Insomnia has continued to explode with growth and is starting to produce a lot of pistils (preflower). I think I'll start introducing the flowering nutes some time next week. As for the other three, they were all tied down (LST) a couple days after these pics were taken and I'm expecting lots of new growth over the next week.

Looking great! I'd start the transition to flowering nutes on the Insomnia at the next water.

Would you recommend a gradual introduction or just a straight up switch to flowering nutes? I was hoping she would get a little taller before packing on weight.

Thanks Shed! I think I'll start introducing the Terpesyn next watering too. :thumb: Some bad news today... In an attempt to straighten out the main stem of the Cheese, I snapped it completely. Tried to salvage it with some duct tape but it's not looking good at all. :( I think I'll be lucky to get a 1/2 oz out of it at this point.

Oof! You'll never make that mistake again (I hope :) ).

You think I would've learned my lesson from last time when I snapped the GSC. ‍♂️ Thankfully it looks like I might have gotten away with it this time. She looked to be on death's door the first night but I was patient enough to leave the tape on and see what happened. To my utter shock the duct tape seems to have done the trick!

Before (this wasn't actually the worst of it, I removed two fan leaves that were in really bad shape.)

Also just realised I seem to have skipped this weeks update completely.... I blame the cannabutter fudge I made... :yummy:

Anthoer decent week (apart from snapping the cheese). The Insomnia is getting pretty huge now and flowering nicely. The Northern Lights seems to have started flowering super early which leads me to think it may not get as big as I'd hoped. The Matanuska has been prefect so far and the Cheese seems to have made a miraculous recovery. All in all, a pretty good week. :Namaste:
