2020 Outdoor Organic Grow Central Canada

Hey @Kodiak420 , that microbial mass stuff sounds like it is mycorrhizae. How expensive was it if you don’t mind my asking?

Curious if it is cheaper than Xtreme Gardening Mycos.

Not at all, how ever i didn't buy any yet.
135.00 plus tax for a liter. That would make 3300 liters of soil drench. So it's super concentrated. The brochure is below, however their website seems ify.

Xtreme Gardening 721220 Mykos WP
I used this for this season, all i could get. Seemed to work.

They aren’t actually saying what it is, but from the description, my guess is mycorrhizae and that is expensive.

Check out Xtreme Gardening’s lineup. I use both their Mycos (2.2lb bag for $32.75 USD)

and their Azos

I would like to try their azos, best to make my list now, who knows what next summer will be like

Hey @Hein
There is great people and information on @420 :420: .
You've definitely joined the right form.

As for me there is a lot of firsts in this grow. I want to be at stage where during the grow season I do not have to do anything but water, and an occasional AACT, ok maybe a foliar feed too. These plants are doing some testing for next year, when I grow in 60/45 (current are 45g, and 35 for the autos) gallon fabric pots and 10 plants. Mostly for ratios of amendments, and deficiencies that pop up. I hoping to learn from it and apply it to next season.

As you can see I have a calcium deficiency, which as be attended to.

It seems i have joined this grow at the right time.
:welcome: no time like the present time, bro.

I really like your approach to growing. I've grown organically before but never knew what it really meant. I just thought using Organic nutes was all it took until my mind was opened and i was taught new ways. Since then i changed my way of growing and AACT is a must for me every season.

I think we will get along well ...

They look like Clover flowers
But I spot some trichomes starting to spill out.

So I'm really seriously considering grabbing a dozen 2x4s and marking a lean-to type of apparatus. And use some Poly for covering.
Why, you my ask, just to keep majority of the rain off.
Tomorrow is rain followed by thunderstorms finished with wind warnings..... F#$k

Keep your head down out there,

For some reason I was thinking you were building from scratch like I do :)

I get all my amendments from a feed mill lol bone meal, blood meal, alfalfa pellets, KNO3 (until I run out and then it will be replaced with organic sources of K) Epsom salt, hydrated lime, kelp meal, Myco, Azos, worm castings and whatever else I think of at the time lol

The Mycos, Azos I get from Xtreme Gardening, the Kelp meal from a garden store that carries it and the worm castings come from the worm bin I had going and forgot about lol

building from scratch like I do :)
That's the plan eventually. First time totally organic, also in lockdown there was a lot of difficulty sourcing stuff at the beginning.
I have a fair amount sourced from some local feed\seed shops for next season. So there's that.
But you're right, and I will be next season hopefully unless we get nuked or covid 19 2.0...

:rollit: :headbanger:

Geez man, i thought we had it bad season time.

It has been shitty season for thunderstorms this year, tornadoes, torrential rains. Very unusual for us to that many storms.

I will need to start using fencing to secure the girls more.
