Hope your right just remember it will lose up to 70% moisture when drying.

i know ... i count 1/8 of wet weight ... but looking at the volume and density i will easely get more then 4x what i had last time and that was 23g (including about 200 seeds) ... thats how i get to 100g in my head... lets hope my guesstimate is spot on ...

Ok so i got a new bag of FFOF for my new auto northern lights and its infested with these bugs. Bad picture, i know. You can spot him on the dark soil around the center of pic. Help!
ive seen that before ... FFOF is living soil ... you'll be fine ...

They dont seem to be in my other plants soil ( same soil, different bag from different supplier )

I'm going to say gnats they are little assholes, they burrow into your soil and if left too long can cause you later problems. For preventative measures you can put an inch of sand at the top. They can't get in or out so they will eventually die. I use sand because it's cheap and easy to buy. There are other sprays made to combat them but who wants to spray extra chemicals on their plants? Also if you can find it get some neem oil for future grows. Saturate you seedlings in it and plant them.Ok so i got a new bag of FFOF for my new auto northern lights and its infested with these bugs. I have neem oil. Going to give it a whirl
I would take it back to the store before they spread to every plant in the room.
Neem will work well, id let the seller know they have contaminated products.
The seedling just sprouted a few days ago, so i think i should pull the seedling and replant in new pot and new soil?

I remember watching this before I even set up a grow tent. The problem with this video, only in terms of the current discussion, is that it only deals with heat and doesn't touch on humidity, but thanks for posting anyway.

Especially FFOF that's just another reason I will never buy their product. Plus the price my soil is cheaper and it's better in my experience
I think im going to steer clear of it from now on. I mean, it IS $$$. And in all reality, any soil can and will have these pests.
I would transplant into good soil yes
