Brand new SP 200 lights x2: help

Sorry guys for the late reply, the website one day I think the website rubbish is too much so it was down, we flush it and it works again,
As to the SP lights, they are hot for many reasons,

• The whole light is no-fan design, so it can only absorb the heat and release it itself on the aluminum body;
• The light itself is actually high wattage for that size light body.
• the white spectrum led chips release more heat than blue and red color leds.

To use the SP lights, you also need to use fan to help with air flow. So that will help the light release heat more easily. And we also have two other ways to control the heat :

• to move the power supply outside of your tent
• to adjust the wattage during the early stages so your plants won't influence too strong lights. You can check the article here: Do you know your SP light can work this way?

Anyway, though the light itself might be more heat than other led grow lights of ours, it will put out more umols, as well, and also it won't heat your room too much, just 2~3 degrees compare to other led grow lights, so feel free to use.

And the light is also too high of wattage for that light body? That's kind of apparent. If it gets too hot to touch it was not designed and engineered correctly that's kind of all there is to it. Doesn't sound like this light was ready for primetime.

The light is no fan design, so we use very thick aluminum body, like our COB lights. You just need to use the same level of fan and other set up like the other led grow lights, that is what I mean. The whole body with no fan design lights usually will be more heat than the ones with fan, but you know actually the cost to make these kind of lights is more expensive. The overall output of the light is better, and the room temperature actually won't increase too much
