CactusReefer's AZ Desert Autos 2021

Mornin! Little weekend update. Day 44 since germ, day 17 of flower. Had some weather on Monday...little rain but a summer style gust front came thru from the storms over the mountains. Almost folded all of my plants over. I may have freaked out lol No issues tho, other than some burnt pistils on the Samquanch. All ladies seem to be focused on flower :ganjamon: The Toofless Alien is looking the farthest along, with some nice trichome development. Me likey frost
Ladies are fully tapped into the bottom super soil layer and are fine with plain water. Ive dripped some compost tea in the water can sometimes. Some sun grow photos from this morning...have a good weekend!

Looking nice! Seem to be handling the recent heat very nicely. So the Coast of Maine Stonington soil is a water only soil mix? All amendments already mixed in?

Ok so I just looked it up on Amazon and answered my own question, lol. Where did you get yours?

Looking good. We're all hoping they hang till the finish line

Afternoon! Hope everyone is excellent. So Im doing a terrible job keeping my grow updated lol. Today is day 54 germ, 27 flower. Weather continues to heat up, touched 100 a couple times. Upper 80's in the shade house tho, low 30's RH. Plants continue to swell and sparkle. The Sams definitely stunted recently, but is trying to catch up. Will be little wispy nugs from her in the end, we'll see. The other 3 are looking great. Starting to stink! Heres full plant as well as bud development pics. Still using plain water, except for a lil tea last soak.

Thanks. They do love the morning sun. I know quality takes time, but I wish theyd hurry! Its staying hot, no more yo-yo temps. Aaaand I found friggin aphids this am. Only under a few leaves on one plant. Separated for the rest of her time. Weird thing is no damage really.? Actually, I think I see 3 different pests...any of you entomologists?

The rounder white aphids have been parasitized by a predator wasp who has laid her eggs in it. Definitely don’t get rid of those ones because they’re going to hatch more aphid killing wasps. The bigger yellow ones I’m not sure maybe those are on their way to being parasitized.
And I possibly see white flies as well. Disclaimer: Not an entomologist, just an avid gardener who has a lot of pest experience LOL.

We got to 100 today. Still cooler at night right now. Not looking forward to all night heat soon. What about you Cactus? You’re a little farther north right? Any cooler up there?

I was thinking about it. Just not sure of when or what to start. Thinking autos but would prob have to start them in September and it may still be too hot then. Have you grown in the fall? Or are you planning on it?
