by pre mixing a few hours ahead you get a more settled ph. Then you can adjust it again if needed before adding.

Okay so... on the advice of a friend I've just refreshed the reservoir at H&G week 1 flower (from Nutrient Calculator).
~PH5.7-5.8/770-810PPM/CF16
Here's hoping I'm not going to fry them

Have you thought of mixing up the hps & LED's next grow? Just thought that mixed spectrum would be really helpful since I've read some people saying the LED's create better quality buds but the hps gives you the large yielding colas.

I have been thinking about that. Possibly a barebulb 600W MH/HPS + LED overhead setup.
thatd be cool id deffinately watch that one. whats your plans once this grows done? i hope you continue growing on here and making journals. you have room for so much and since earlier on in this grow you lost so many it'd be nice to see ALL your space used up like planned.

Are you talking about the hybrid dual arc bulbs? That would be badass with the LED's

On second thought I think the plants will all be done vegging by the time they get to this room so no need for MH.

Do you have really good ventilation? Now I don't know where you live but Don't you think a 600w non Air Cooled w/ballast attached would raise your temps significantly?

im glad to hear that! you have one of the more pleasantly decorated grow rooms. your set up is something i dream about so as long as your on here making journals you got a follower right here.

I like the room too.......The next one will be even better I am glad you feed them some real food and got them off that baby food...
Looking bomb man I have to say. Maybe some light movers would help those LED lights out and give them a fighting chance vs. the HPS. Cant wait to see what you come up with next.

Hey I missed this post last time I was reading through.
Yes I agree it will raise temps. I will wait and see the finished quality (and quantity) of the LED vs HPS before I make the final call. That being said my room is very well sealed. I plan to add an AC like this in a couple months Frigidaire 24.5 SEER iQ Drive Air Conditioner | Heating and Air | HVAC if I decide to introduce more HID lighting.

Things are looking excellent.
Edit: They ate a ton this week. They also drank so much water the pump starts sucking air. I NEED to do a rez change tomorrow. I think it'll be 80 gallons this week.

Dang there little buddy that room is looking freaking crazy. Every thing is looking bomb as hell. Did you ever add any of that H202 that some one on here wanted you to add? It looks like on table number 2 one plant is trying to lean over to the HPS table but who could blame it. Keep up the hard work bro and you will get the pay off in the end. I'm freaking sold on flood and drain with H&G their stuff just works.

Nope I didn't. I'm hoping the Great White will help regulate.
But there's also a couple branches from the HPS table going under the barrier over to the LED's!

Here are the clones at day 15. They don't seem real happy at least on top. I moved them to 310PPM today (from 140PPM which was just my well water) to see if it makes them a little happier. The 310 PPM is just HG A+B & Roots Exel and osme R/O water to dilute down the PPM. Almost all of them have rooted well despite how they look on top. I'm going to throw out the weakest ones at some point probably.
