cutting, trimming, preparing for flowering

hi,

i have some plants and basically im happy enough to trim the bottoms and neaten then up a bit. I was just wondering how long after trimming the bottoms would anyone suggest leaving them to get other the shock before switching them to 12/12? also would you trim any small leaves off to let light pass through? and leave the big fan leaves??

I remove mostly lower leaves on the plant and leaves which shade bud sites. It's more important for the bud to get light than the leaves in flower. They probably aren't too shocked depending how many leaves you took. Give them 4 days minimum and all should be good. You can take off a few leaves every day and the plant won't mind.
