Welcome Danny! It looks like you don't need any help. Those buds are gorgeous!

so far so good brother. I’m on day 42 of flower. Gonna install the UVA supplemental light baron my lights today after work to drive up the resin production for the last 2 weeks before harvest. I’m pretty proud of my first attempt at growing. Hopefully i get better with every harvest

it pays to read books and ask questions with other growers.

You should be proud man, most folks including me have a far worse run. What have you thought of for the dry and cure? You're almost there.

I’ve set up my bedroom as a closed controlled environment. Took all the furniture out except for the flower tent and veg tent , air conditioner and dehumidifier. I’m gonna hang dry inside the tent, keeping them temperature at
18 degrees celcious, humidity 50%.
I’m thinking about using brown paper bags to cure or cardboard boxes. I’ve been reading a lot on glass jar curing and the fact that it is an outdated Practice. I’m still reading up and trying to decide what to do. Any advice as this is from what I’ve read, the most important part when looking for the best quality

You're good so far. I've been using turkey oven bags to final dry and cure. Amazon has humidity meters for short money. I put one in each bag. I use boveda 58 or 62'S to keep the rh stable. I still use jars too. They work. The bags are porous and over time the buds change rh so I remove from them and fill jars. Whatever method you adopt, you want it to be stable over time.

I had to chop them down a little early. I ran into some powdery mildew on the sugar leaves. It was getting way too close to the buds so I didn’t want to risk losing the whole crop my first time. The trichombes were just starting to turn amber. Very few had changed colour but I couldn’t risk leaving them because of the mildew. I HATE mildew

Learned some really valuable lessons that I will put in practice my next grow. Gotta get a proper air purification system set up. I’m looking at a product called airoclean420. Looks legit. Should keep powdery mildew in check

I was thinking it looked a little early but didn’t wanna make anybody feel bad about the first harvest, especially since mine is coming up in awhile, it still looks good though, how’s it smell, maybe u just sacrificed a little bulk and still got the flavor
