I hear you there mate, i started mine in crappy potting mix/soil and also had a bug infestation, luckily i caught it early enough and definitely wont be using it again lol

Yep i did the same thing on my first grow. got some top soil from walmart as i decided i would just start cheap and work my way up to better stuff but my plants were so yellow and died about a month after i started. looking good though DB003

hello everyone nothing to update on the plants today I was going to take some pics but it will be lights out in a hour so I will let them get there rest I will be mixing up my nutes tomorrow for there watering on Monday one of my room mates friends gave my some grodan mini blocks plant starters he had I think there were 23 of them don't you just love free stuff

good morning everyone today is Sunday 5/17/2015 today is day #8 of flower this is db003 here to bring you a update at the crack of dawn why am I up at the crack of dawn on a Sunday you say instead of being asleep well that's because my roommate decided it would be funny to bring every single speaker in are house in to my room and put them around my bed and put are theater quality surround sound system on a alarm to go off at 4 a.m. and play System Of A Down - Chop Suey! at full blast I know this might sound cruel but its not he was just getting me back for saran wrapping him inside a car when I came home and seen he was passed out drunk in the drive way on Friday

now that I was already awake I packed a fat bowl and watched the sun come up since I was awake I mixed up my nutes for my watering tomorrow it was and is still to early to take pics of my plants then I went back to sleep

its almost 8 a.m. now in this weeks watering I used 1 tsp. Roots Organics Buddha Grow and 1 tsp. Roots Organics Buddha bloom 1 tsp. roots organics trinity 1tsp. roots organics ancient amber 1tsp. roots organics hp2 1 tsp. roots organic extreme serene 1tsp. roots organic oregonism xl 1tsp. earth juice hi brix molasses 1/2 tsp. earth juice elements Cal-and-mag I still have to add the soul synthetics amino aide and big swell just before I water my plants tomorrow here are some pics of the nutes I used I will post some pics of the plants after the lights come on

good afternoon growers I got bored so I pulled the green crack out of the tent and did some lst I am only in day #8 of flower so they still got some more stretching to do I am not to worried about the Larry og Kush I did a bang up job with her lst since I started the lst way before the other plant I stop doing the lst on her right after I transplanted them just before I switched to flower she is growing just fine but that green crack is a monster I have to tame so far its not bad I have been keeping an even canopy with the other plant well that's it for now and now some pics of my plants the last two pics are of the only yellow leaf I could find on the whole plant I also got a good shot of the Larry og Kush inside the tent by her self

Dang it, you posted the pics of your plants while I was posting. They look great!

lol me and my room mate are cool like that we have a very strict rules about are pranks #1 never pull a prank that might hurt some one no matter how funny it might be and #2 only pull pranks on the weekends and only if you know the person being pranked has no plans for that weekend #3 no pranks that would make a mess in or out of the apartment #4 you can only pull one prank in a three month period that's about it so in the week we are best friends but the weekend its all out war!

no pistils yet I am in day 8 of flower they should start showing signs of flower some time soon

good day to all my fellow growers out there today is Monday 5/18/2015 it is day #9 of flower today is one of my watering days so I had a chance to take a ton of photos while my girls were in and out of the tent. In this watering I used one teaspoon or 5ml of the following in each gallon of water. one gallon of nutes for each plant except for the earth juice Cal-n-mag that I only gave a half of a teaspoon for each gallon. my mom got us some more gnomes for are plants! one has a shovel one has a hammer and the last one has a axe only one has a name so far that's the one with the shovel his name is white beard

hello to all I just had some ideas in my head that I want to put in my grow journal I think in my next grow I will might only put one plant in my tent that way it wont get bunched up I still have to wait and see how this grow comes out before I deiced its funny how when you plan things out and they don't go as expected so far in this grow I have not had many problems like I was going to do scrog but that did not happen I just left it in the back of my tent half way hooked up I might put it back up if my plants need some support lol the only real thing I have done to my plants is just lst no topping at all I also did a little pruning when they were still in veg but that's about it I am only in day #9 of flower so I still have a ways to go and a lot to learn honestly I think I would be happy even if I only got a ounce from each plant but I really hope I get a little more then that well that's it I am going back to watching Naruto and smoke a bowl

greetings and salutations today is Tuesday 5/19/2015 it is day #10 of flower today I was looking at my plants and measuring how high the lights were for the tops of my plants and moved the light up a inch or two in my last watering I noticed the there was a ton of undergrowth on the green crack so I said what the heck and pulled her out of the tent and did a real good trim on her I also gave a trim to the Larry og Kush since the other plant was already out of the tent the undergrowth on the Larry og Kush was now as bad as the green crack but I cleaned it up anyway and I move the Larry og Kush to the front of the tent and moved the green crack to the back one thing I thought was funny is that my Indica dominant Larry og Kush has stretched more than my sativa dominant green crack and that is a good thing so far it looks like the lst I am doing on the green crack is working now that my plants are bigger I took the jar with water and rag out of the tent since my plants are making enough humidity in the tent I used to open one of the flaps at the bottom of my tent every day to let more extra air in but the Velcro is starting to wear out from use so I stopped opening it now I only open it if it is a hot day ok that's about it I did manage to take some good before and after pics of both plants
