Am i stuid for wanting to flower with 2 400w eye hortilux blue mh bulbs in a 4x4 tent?

I wouldn't use that word. I wouldn't use those lights for that purpose unless that was my best option. I wouldn't put two of em in that small a space either. One 600watt Super HPS would be ideal for a 4x4 space in my opinion.

Thanks!! I just seen the spetrum of the blue mh and it looked great compared to the super hps
A better bulb for flowering would be the Phillips Ceramic Metal Halides. They are more heavy in the red end than the hortilux eye blue but also provide a full spectrum like the eye... also they run about 1/2 the price as the eye!!

Can i run them on digital ballest? Do they produce alot of heat
No, only on magnetic HPS ballasts... They actually run very cool compared to regular MH or HPS bulbs.

Is the 315w the biggest they carry? I would have to run 2 of them in my 4x4tent. Aircooled
They have 400w models....

Actually The Eye Hortilux Blue is E-Ballast compatible. It also has such a broad spectrum it can be used for Veg or Flower.

If you look up the rev he loves flowering under 400 watt blues. and his results are the shiz.

Ive read his book about 100 times. Im growing all organically. Tlo style just like him. Thank you for all the input. Ill be starting my grow in 3 weeks. First one. Very excited
