First Photo Grow, No More Runt Autoflowers!

Both the Blue Cheese and Acapulco Gold got up pot to 1 gallon which went well. Amnesia Lemon will be joining them shortly. Here they are in the nursery . If I didn’t have a scale to check moisture levels i would definitely be over watering.

Hey there mate. Just having a bit of a look through your grow.

I was wondering when you split your grow mixes up into 1/3s, do you mean by layers or ratio?

I liked your composition you laid out. I would have suggested a bit of time between mix and use for max benefit though.
Thanks for tuning in! The 1/3 are the layers in the pot. I actually gave each layer just a touch of water and brought the pots into my dining room so they can come up to temp and start the microbe activity. I'm probably a month out to the final transplant into these pots. I'm probably too soon getting them ready, but once I finally received all my ingredients I was excited to get to mixing.

Ok, what do you think is going on here? Leaves are curling up slightly, the one plant by itself has yellowing as well. She's an autoflower and ready for up pot tonight. I just noticed the other 4 photo period plants are starting to curl up just slighting. Thoughts?

All 4 photoperiod plants are looking great.

Think Different Auto
She is still in her starter pot, steady as she goes. Probably still another week or two before I up pot and move her to main room. I'm not expecting much to be honest.

Blue Cheese
On 1/23 she was transplanted into final 5 gal pot with Miracle Grow Performance Organics and my super mix in the bottom. (Yeah, yeah, I know. It was the only thing I could get from Walmart so thought I'd try once)
Yesterday did some LST and trimmed some lower fan leaves.

Blue Monster
On 1/28 she was transplanted into final 5 gal pot with Roots Organics and my super mix in the bottom.
Yesterday did some LST and trimmed some lower fan leaves. Left my wife in charge of watering this past week and this one got too much, way too wet so hope that's what's causing edge of leaves to yellow.

2/25 Update

Acapulco Gold

She's looking good, responding well to training. Sucking up about 6 cups of water every 2-3 days.

1646084411954.png

Amnesia Lemon
She seems a little stunted with droopy tops. Still seems to be ok for now. Training continues

1646084508667.png

Blue Cheese
All is well, continue training. 4-5 cups of water every 3-4 days. Starting to see some yellowing of the leaf tips. I'm guessing this is due to my super hot soil in the bottom of the pot ... any thoughts ??

Blue Monster
Very similar to Blue Cheese, getting yellow tips but still bushing up.

Here are all the photo period plants. They all got some water today with some Great White. LST training still in progress. The Acapulco is the clear winner looking very strong. Blue Monster not a monster yet. Blue Cheese is looking pretty good but Amnesia Lemon looks rough. Any ideas what may be going on with her?

Ok, I need some feedback on this one fellow growers. Its getting the same conditions as other plants that seems to be thriving. This one not so much. ...? Its a Amensia Lemon fermionized, the leaves cupping down seem to be a sign of something...? Thought?

Brudley, she might not need as much Nitrogen as she's getting. What are you feeding her?

I'm going all organic, so its just Ocean Forest soil with a few amendments I added in the lower 1/3 of the pot. The other plants seem to be loving it, so not sure what this guys problem is. What I have noticed with this plant and others with similar issues is the roots are terrible, not much of a root ball it just goes straight through to pot.

Try watering her around the edges only for a while. Stay away from watering in the middle and see if you can get the roots to spread out some.

What amendments did you use?
