Thanks, Weasel. I like her a lot. I think I did OK with the one I harvested. It was too early, but I didn't lose much to rot. They're mostly hanging. With some butchered ones drying on a screen. I'll put up a picture of them hanging.

Yup Major; probably close to Christmas. Lol. I don't expect she'll get any rot. The first real frost will come before then. I picture myself chopping whatever I have right before first killing frost. Which is usually about 30 days from now.

I look around my garden, the other one and I witness what I'm up against trying to get these buds to grow. The girls don't want to grow, just finish. They are looking at me, like the 'mates saying "how about some fried green tomatoes."

It seems that your sativa is going to keep you hanging around home for a while longer. Do you expect any light frost conditions before Thanksgiving?

Yeah, Uncle. I do. Average killing frost is Nov. 14 here. But who knows. El Nino? Climate Change?

The lady is looking good. Wish I could magically speed up her flowering. If you had some scrap lumber and Visqueen, you could make an impromptu greenhouse and keep her going a few weeks or more past the first killing frost.

...or some PVC pipe to make a hoop tent/tunnel to cover it from the rain and help with frost.

I'm of a mind to use a "plant blanket" for the Sativa when a frost comes. If I can get past the first one that can possibly buy considerable time. Luckily, here, a frost like that would come with clear and dry weather.

I think I have the environment in the drying room correct with a fan and a small space heater. The room is in our finished basement. A little cool hence the heat. A bit of air movement from the fan. It is 70-75 F. and the RH seems dry enough. with the fan and leaving the door open.

I'm all caught up now KK. Please forgive my absence. May I say, for a first grow, you've demonstrated exemplary skills in the face of extreme challenge. Your positive attitude and obvious passion that's awakened for the task at hand have made me beam with pride as I read through.

I love that she shows no concern at all for the changing season. She's going to force you to accommodate her. She's building trichomes, so no matter what, you're going to get something smokable. If you can pull off the plant blanket idea I think you're going to really surprise yourself.

This grow has been a joy to follow. Your next grow, I'm sticking closer.

And here we have KG2, the one we adoringly call the "dwarf." She was a little different from the beginning. At first she didn't seem to want to grow at all. When she did decide to she put on leaves in earnest during veg, but she just didn't get very big. She's not even 3 1/2 feet. But she is ahead of KG3. Here are some pics.
