First Timer: any advice is appreciated

Attempting to grow autoflower with Kind Soil and Coco Loco...after the seed spouts it tail...should I use a Solo Cup or directly plant the seed into the final 5 gal. pot? thanks.

Welcome!
Always put auto seeds into their final growing place, they don't do transplants well.

Welcome Citizen, I put them in a 5 gal. Water around the seedling's leaf perimeter so it doesn't get too much water and you get gnats.

Welcome to 420 ckk, I'm a first timer for indoor, I started with 4 autos and made a few mistakes, they didn't yield like they should have, but the quality was great. Read up to learn, I had my light too far at first, and over watered, when I joined this community I started learning and recovered from what wouldn't have been as good as I did imo, and I believe autos require less nutrients than photos, feel free to check out my journal and don't hesitate to ask any questions, good luck with your new hobby
