What do you think of this idea? Running air in a container filled with water, adding a baffle thru the middle down into the water, so it pulls air down thru the water into the tent.

It would also filter, not certain of how much, but it would compress the air which would create heat and humidity….

Definitely worth trying.
I've seen similar rigs help.

It is just easier to run a proper humidifier.
It's frigging dry here 25 % right now with fire going.

Theoretically, but its not made of stone .
Ill install a fire suppression system when the finances allow.

that's a relief. i'm not sure why we are communicating in bold. it's a new experience for me. i'm usually a bit more self-deprecating ...

the vivohut is the grow-room build du jour. when folk locally ask about something similar i point your thread out.

there's a home and garden show going here, and one of the things featured are grow hut builds, inferior to your set up.

my pops did building hvac design for a living, he designed my last 3 spaces, and did 2 others for larger med grows. he could probably do a side business if he wasn't retired. you should look into it.

i consistently take too many clone cuttings. i give away about 3 times what i grow. it's an issue ..

Did construction for 30 years, built custom homes.
Never built a grow room for a client.
But I'd love to spend someone else's money and build them.
Would be fun.

The flower room is only 5x5, my smallest ever.
Id say 6 comfortably but i have 8 in there now.
I'm not used to being restricted for space.
My previous flower rooms were 4x8.
So im just working out my self what will fit.
Veg is 4x4.
its more than enough room, really.
i just have to get used to doing a bit more training and shorter veg.
i want a harvest every 4 weeks again so i have to get my arse in gear.

Everyone is depending on me for clones.
I usually give away a bunch and sell the rest.
I need some for the greenhouse, veg room and for everyone else.
50 is just the start.

I'm still not myself health wise and it's been a rough winter.
I'm looking forward to the sun and hanging out with Howie and Charlie in the greenhouse.
Winter is too long up here.
Thankfully the hut is running and I had the girls this winter.
It's ĺong and dark without a garden to look forward to.

Except this little girl. She is a Jher
taken in flower. Want just that Pheno. Always track your girls.

They are huge cuttings ,do you think that plays a part in them rooting so well the demand it would have to create roots to gather nutrients to feed such a big cutting ? Aswell as those easy plugs they are great, I just got a tray of those little ones the other day

bigger cuttings are always easier to root. there is simply more plant to support the cutting as it makes new roots, and there is more surface area for roots to develop. as well a larger cutting will carry more leaves and nutrients in those leaves to pull from if the cutting has to take time to reveg.

I chop off branches and grow them in those cubes.
Everyone thinks you need pristine little cuttings.
I thought why wait for it to grow up.
I had half a dozen huge mother's. To rotate through.
Cut off a branch root it and your ready to go.
A dozen every month were harvested so I needed a healthy crop to choose from.

That was my 2 flower rooms.
A harvest every 4 weeks.
