Anyhoo

I only had a min to take a couple picks today cos i am actually quite busy

The first is of the 5 plants that i have put into flower today

The top row are all from seed

Bottom left is 1st generation clone of the top center plant

Bottom rite right is a first generation clone of the top left plant

I have kept one of the first generation clones for a mother (below) plant witch i will be starting to take some clones of her in the next week or so.

The other two are Fruit Spirit. they are taking ages to do anything above the soil but the roots are going great blow ground. you should have seen them when i transplanted them. So i am expecting to see some good growth in the next week.

Well that's me for the mo guys.

Hello all! what a cracking journal, I have really enjoyed reading and I am very intrested in the re-gen of my plants. I tried cloning my babys and did'nt do well at all ( it was my first time ) my babys are 3 weeks into flowering and this may give me a second attempt at trying to get some plants ready for my next grow. Is it easy enough to do and will I just need what I had from my cloning fail i.e t5 light , growbox and rooting gel? All advice would be greatly received thanks!

Thanks for joining in.

To re-gen a plant you will first have to harvest the plant you want to re-gen but make sure you leave some nice popcorn buds as these will hopefully provide you with new growth sites

As you can see some of the plant had died away here and some nice new growth has started to emerge.
I have noticed that the new growth looks weird but i am guessing this will change when i get an actual node or two on there.

Once you have some normal growth and enough of it to take a few clones then the usual clone process would apply.

I prefer to take the clone from the mother plant then place the clone under water to make a second 45deg cut then scrape some of the lower steam then cover with cloning gel and finally into damp soil.

Putting the clones in a heated propagator would be best and have them under 24hr light until they root. spray and ventilate 2 or 3 times a day

plants are lookn amazin mate. :goodjob:

Thanks m8

Nice one mate. Plants are lookin sweet as. how long inti flower are u now?

Re: GlasgowGreen’s 1st Grow Nirvana White Widow Journal - 2012

id have to go back through my journal to find out how long mine have been in flower, i tend to pay little attention to that, as long as their growing and flowering when i flip the lights to 12-12 then all i care about is when they are ready, but if you ask me how long they have been in flower, all you would get is a long silence while i try and find out, i think i should keep a hand written diary, maybe then i could check back and find out how long they have been in flower/veg, but my plants grow and i harvest when they are ready, thats all i need to know,

Re: GlasgowGreen’s 1st Grow Nirvana White Widow Journal - 2012

I am much the same as you Paul. I let them veg till they are a good size or when the pre-flowers show. As for the flower stage I am in no hurry either. each plant gets a good going over with a scope to see how mature the buds are and i chop when they are ready not before!

However i do keep a rough note of things like date sprouted, veg, flip to flower and chop date. Just do this to compare plants.

I do get excited to see the buds developing lol
