Grow #2: Zkittlez Auto

Planning grow #2 for 4 zkittlez autos in a 4x4 tent with spider farmer sf4000 light and geoflora organic nutrients. So far I have 3 more weeks before I plan on germinating. I put 1 gallon of foxfarm ocean forest in the bottom of a 3 gallon bag. Mixed some extra perlite and then added 1/3 cup geoflora veg, then watered. I then put 2 gallons of happy frog on top. I plan on watering with recharge a few times and letting the soil sit for 3 weeks.

Good soil mix! Also a good idea to get the soil wet to start the microbes doing their work, for a microbial jump start try adding a tablespoon of unsulphered (blackstrap) molasses to each gallon of water. You can use molasses all through the grow, it really helps release nutrients for fat buds while.

I just started a 4 plant indoor auto grow, 2 Cherry do-si-do's, a Gorilla glue, and a Northern lights. I'm using straight FF Ocean Forest.

I'm using recharge and I think it has some molasses in it. My first widow auto I grew in straight ffof soil and I didn't water it properly due to being a rookie and it didn't grow very well in veg, in fact it may be the smallest cannabis plant ever grown to flower, its like 8 inches tall from the soil. Definitely a learning experience. I currently have her planned for the chopping on Thursday, and I planted 2 more of the widows about 7 weeks ago that are now starting to flower, one grown in straight fox farm coco loco which was a mistake because I am dealing with a calcium deficiency with that one, and one grown in a mixture of coco loco, ocean forest and extra perlite and that one is doing really well and should produce a little over 2 ozs

Seeds have been soaked for about 12 hours and are in between paper towels and 2 out of 4 have cracked. Just waiting on my little runt widow to finish drying so I can throw my 2 other widow autos in my 2x2 to finish and start these 4 zkittlez. My white yarrow cover crop is coming in nicely.

Taproots tripled in size within hours so I had to plant them last night. I have a good feeling about these genetics, these seeds germinated 3 times faster than the last strain from a different company.

This grow is going to be simple. Geoflora veg every 2 weeks. Thrive alive b-1 green added at 7ml per gallon and terpinator added at 10ml veg and 20ml flower. Trying to keep it as simple as possible

That shows they're good healthy fresh seeds, good sign for what's to come. Nice.
Yeah its just strange because the former seeds were from a company recommended by a friend that grows and this company is a company that kept spamming my email with buy 10 get 10 free sales and they basically spammed me into submission

Gonna call this day 2. All 4 are looking good. I'm never sure how much to water at this stage so I've been lightly misting every couple hours with a mixture of the same stuff I'm using to water with 1/2 tbsp per gal thrive alive b-1 green with tsp epsom salt added. I was curious what to expect out of this strain and took a look on the website and from what I've read these get tall and average 4 to 5 feet tall which I was not expecting. Glad I got the taller tent.

Day 4 in the zkittlez tent. Overall happy with how they are looking so far. Have a runt which has 3 leaves. Debating whether I want to give them a little water today or wait until tomorrow, I always have trouble deciding when to water at this stage with such small sprouts in large containers.

Forcing myself to wait one more day to water these little ladies. I've been misting the hell out of them to keep them moist and adding a little happy frog soil around the stems to try and keep them supported. The runt looks better today and the best one has a other node now. Really happy with this grow so far.

Fed a day early. All 4 looking good even the runt is starting to get there. Was a little bit nervous about giving the full 1/3 cup of geoflora veg since it is an autoflower and from what I've read this particular strain is a light feeder so I gave 1/4 cup of geoflora veg to each pot and mix it in with about an inch of the top of the soil. I watered it in and then waited about 10 minutes and added about 6 to 8 ounces of recharge around the base of the stem.

Debating when to start lst. I always get anxiety when it comes to putting my hands on the plants. Maybe I'll watch some more videos before attempting this time around. I think 3 out of 4 should be tal enough to bend over but maybe another day or 2 just to make sure I got the technique down

Good morning costanza.
I usually bend them over when the 5th set of leaves are starting to show.
Good luck, you'll be doing it without thinking soon.
Thanks I've been trying to let it grow more before bending. I think the last grow where I snapped the main stem had been haunting me
