Hanging height 600W HPS

Hi guys pretty simple question I think......

1.2x1.2m with a 600w hps i have it in a adjust a wing hood. How high off of the canopy should the light be? At the moment I have it set at 20" and I'm getting a reading of 21°c/ 70°f with the fans on. Is it worth me going lower or am I asking for trouble I have just switched to 12/12 yesterday

Stick to 20" , I have tried a lot of different height levels with hps and found 16-20" is perfect depending on the reflector.

I keep mine between 16-24" 1000w HPS.
