you leave your jars way too empty. i pack mine using a can to squash as much bud in as i can. i only leave enough space at the top for a hygrometer lol

After having mine in grove bags for over a year, which I suggest 9 months tops. I packed /squashed mason jars with them and topped them off with home-made dehydrated cherries. They had some moisture left even though I dried thm quite some time.
This created a seal and then screwed the mason lids on. Dropped them in a pot of water and put to slow boil. Weighed them down with a cast iron lid. Had no way ov determining the inside temperature... it fu''ed up my hygrometer. lol

Let cool and 2 outta 3 sealed with a POP.
Bonus.. It helped sweeten the taste considering its age..

If memory serves, the side that has 2 rows of no holes go at top. You are so popular, we would have to go back 100 pages at least!

I have been meaning to consolidate everything into one journal.
Just a step by step for reference.
But unfortunately I had a problem with the pics / tablet / memory, mine. That is.
So the dome on the bottom sticks up not down.
And yes holes go at the bottom.
I put in zip ties before I fill it.
For tracking.
Any thing you need to know, I’m happy to explain further.
The pictorials are pretty good though, if you find’em.
