Help! 8 foot plant

same strain as others and also same time in flower (70 days) but it has shot up many feet over the others and isn’t really forming buds. Just lots of pistils. Stems are skinny and the damn thing sways everywhere. Any suggestions?

She kind of looks like she is re-vegging, is your room completely sealed off from any light leaks? From looking at your pics that would be my beast guess.

I would also say it's re-vegging. There must be light leaks. If you go In the room during lights out and wait for your eyes to adjust can you see anything? Even a tiny light leak can cause this.

The plant is with others though, and there is no others that have this problem. That’s what’s making me scratch my head... I’m not saying you guys are wrong I’m just trying to think out all possibilities here. Could it simply be bad genetics?

True! That does make for a bit of a mystery but it is possible that a tiny light leak is near this one particular plant. How about dehumidifiers, fans, and other powered devices... do they have a power light on them or any led indicators on them that could be casting a tiny bit of light onto this plant?
Also keep an eye on it that it doesn't hermi. That would cause a bigger problem for the rest of the plants.

i do not believe light leaks are always the cause of revegging and bad genetics are defo a factor to be considered in auto.. is yours a photo though? i i have 2 auto royal haze bag seeds. they started their preflowering and stretch at week 5, by week 9 they were revegging, stretch never stopped, had to move out of a tent and they are currently also 6/7 ft tall, much taller than me anyway, lots single finger fan leaves and growths out of what poorly formed buds there were, now its almost week 15 LOL may even be 16, cant remember and they on 12/12 for 3 weeks or so, and finally doing what it should, bad genetics in my case for sure im certain

I would consider 'topping' the main stem in the middle somewhere. Take a couple of feet off.

You could clone the top 4 -6 inches if inclined to do so.

Then dry and crumble the leaves and any mini buds off the rest. These can be consumed a number of ways.
