Help me please

Hello people
I recently started my first grow and it is going pretty smooth although I chose to use cfl bulbs for the grow inside my DIY cardboard grow box .
I am attempting a budget grow but recently the tips of my plants touched my CFL bulbs as you all know I tried to keep them as close as possible

because of the light penetration of CFL bulbs here are pictures pls help me out

Try to hang the cfls horizontal, works better.

Heat stress those cfls kinda suck. I would get some t5s instead and ditch those cfls arnt as bright as t5s go online or a hydro store and get some. They will like them a lot better and you won't burn you plants like that

Thanks cannabomb but the problem is that this is a very stealthy grow as I have roommates that wouldn't like this and also I am growing in a diy grow box so t5s would take up too much space

Stealthy.....What are you using to filter the air and move air through your grow box?

I am sure your roommates already know. As long as you grow low-odor strains, they should not complain too much.

Yes, hanging the CFLs horizontal will give you a few more inches. I grew with JUST CFLs for 2 years, and had decent yields. Only recently added LEDS to the mix.

You can try to tie down the taller branches to give them more headroom. I had my first grow trained to 18" tall.
