Ga3 is just plant growth hormone usaully extracted from kelp. which makes sense since it's one of the fastest growing plants on earth. It is used in farming a lot as a foliar for fruit trees to produce larger fruit but if to strong of a solution is used it can cause weird growth mostly stretch or force pollen females/herm in cannabis. It worked great on those old seeds from 1994, one of them popped after 6 weeks of trying.

It can cause elongation, which is what your after, in just not sure how bad in cannabis..

Cant remember where i was reading it but ga3 only needs to be around 100-200ppm to successfully turn a branch hermy (after continual treatments used like cs), thats a very low rate considering they recommend 500-1000ppm for seed germination, have read they use it in grapes to produce seedless crops, bigger fruits, elongation of branches etc. To me, spraying anything that has a chance to hermy my girls wont happen but am intrigued to see what kind of results come from different applications of ga3 in different stages, there isnt a lot of info out there on it for cannabis besides germination

I decided to go with liquid kelp, foliar spray for now for EOGK, and I got a few pics at lights out last night, no water for them yet. It looks like the left BK found a water pocket it's showing over water on the new growth.

Glad to see ya Feral I just got busy as heck working long hours and the weekend, that Bubba Fire is a pain to trim the A nugs have to be broke down to several b nug spades otherwise they just don't look good so the trimmers have been working late and I have been coming in a bit early to make sure their not standing around outside the warehouse waiting.

I finally watered my girls the other day, I set up a sip system so no moisture shows on the top soil and hopefully that keeps fungus gnats away. I under trimmed Bubba kush and Lunar again and I am going to flip them Monday. That Eugene OG Kush must have been a bad cut the plant it came from was the smallest in the group. Bonsai anyone lol

Oh boy was I ever busy, trimming is done now thank goodness! Next we are going to change out the old res system for a new design. At that point won't be able to post pics of work anymore since it's a patentable design that we hope to patent soon.

Thanks Feral and thnx for stopping by It's all Lunar Landing in Dad's grow he might have found another pheno so that is 3 different structure phenotypes and 2 different smells so far that I know about.
I still have about 700 seeds from that girl so who knows. I forgot to mention I kept it simple in his grow I recommended Happy frog soil for the final pot he went solo cup with my soil mix 8 inch pots with my soil again just to make sure they were well established before throwing random soil at them and he used Alaska fish fertilizer only when they started showing hunger pains then after the buds set I had him use half the recommended dose of fish fertilizer and half the recommended dose of Alaska Morebloom then once the first trichs showed up I had him start the molasses at 2 tbs per gallon and phase out the fish fertilizer working the Morebloom up to full dose simultaneously and continue the molasses until we see 20 30 percent amber then flush for a week.

I have a quick update of the girls looks like Lunars a girl but no matter I picked up a pair of male clones from dad he ended up with a late bloomer in flower which is what I want.
I under trimmed, topped and thinned out the foliage of the Bubba kush clones and under trimmed the Lunar Landing.

I added the 400 hps as well so for sure Wednesday I'm flipping.

Thnxs GP, The Lunar Landing is a f-8 cross of Snoops Dream x Pennywise and reportedIy has a cbd of 13% and thc of 10% I got it from a local breeder called BurnsBestCannabis when I got it I crossed it back to itself by picking a short male and a short bushy female to try and tame the stretch I still have some of the original seeds too.

13℅ CBD?! My god... That's what I call medicine! And 10℅ THC means you will have a mild buzz while having the CBD taking care of you.
Very nice! And even better because you grow something that few other growers focus on; and that's a more balanced genetics, rather than having as much as THC as possible.
Really curious how it will smoke and feel.
