UPDATE:
28 days from seed/Truthband is about 32 days from seed.

Watered today with 1/4tsp of PRO T and 1tsp of HI-BRIX mixed in a gallon. The 4 girls took 3 gallons with just a tad of runoff. I also put my screen down yesterday. I will take some pictures later and post. Everything seems to be going pretty good. I was going to give them a small dose of grow but I dont see the point really. They are looking super healthy right now so no reason to do anything. I prolly will add some next time. But the FFOF is still pretty fresh and is great for vegging by itself. Nothing to else to add really. Now its just a matter of filling in the screen a tad and making the switch.

Nothing new to announce. Did a little tucking, and took some pictures. Temps got up to 95F. Rh is 65

Nice grow... I think I'm a little impatient when it comes to training my plants because yours look fantastic.. Good choice on the silica, I think it helps with the bud density too.

I got a question for you... How do you plan on draining the saucers under your pots?... I've grown to hate watering because I really dislike moving my plants all over the place to drain the saucers. I've used turkey Basters and have pondered using a pump to drain them. I was just kinda wondering what you were planing..

Yea Im sorry guys/gals. I explained it in my first journal and totally forgot to mention it in this one. And its a VERY good question. One that I was conflicted with for a while. But now Iv got it down now and its not so bad. I actually started with a turkey baster but that was going to take 4 ever so I bought this

This thing worked Tony the Tiger Style. Made life simple and grand..... then it started messing up, I think it got clogged or something. So now I use this,

Which seems pretty much clog proof but is a pain because the pump requires to hands. I use a foot to hold the pump still, one hand to pump and one hand to hold the hose in the saucer. But it works pretty good and gets all the runoff. I just pump it in an empty milk jug. Usually the one I just poured the nutes from.

No. I thought about it but it would actually just make things harder. May be easier on my soil and roots that way but as of right now I just take my nute jug (milk jug) and slowly and as evenly as I can, pour it from the top.

UPDATE:
32 days from seed/Truthband is about 36 days from seed.

Did some more tucking but not alot. Watered them with only 2 gallons of water mixed with 1/4tsp PRO TEKT 1/2tsp MICROBLAST and 1tsp of HI-BRIX. I only gave them a half gallon a piece so no runoff. I Plan to make a mix of some EJ tea next time. With some grow,bloom,micro,catalyst,hibrix. A light dose to start them off. I just ordered some of this

Here is the only info I could get on it

A proprietary blend of 10 natural occurring beneficial soil microbes.
A solution grade powder formula that may be applied by mixing directly into the medium or can be applied as a liquid feed by adding to water, plant teas or fertilizer solutions.
Contains the following non-plant food active ingredients azotobacter chroococcum, azotobacter vinelandii, azospirillum lipoferum, bacillus coagulans, bacillus megaterium, bacillus subtilis, pseudomonas fluorescens, rhizobium japonicum, trichoderma harzianum, trichoderma viride.
For use in indoor and outdoor applications, as well as soil and hydroponics.

I paid $12 for a 4oz little thing to try it out.

It prolly wont be in for a couple weeks so I will just have to start the nute program without it. I will mix together some nutes prolly tomorrow and let it bubble for 24hrs or so and drench them with it. Make sure I get a good amount of runoff. Here are a pic of the ladies from this morning.

They still have about 10 days before I make the switch. They heat has slowed them down for sure so it may be longer. Thats about it for now. Till next time.

Those ladys are looking good. That screen is going to get full quick. I definetly need to give this scroging a try.

Thanks for showing us your watering tools, I never even knew siphon pumps existed. I picked one up at lowes today and I'm excited to give it a shot...

Oh yea. I recommend them for everyone really. Even those who dont have a screen. Its still easier than removing the plant from the saucer and dumping the saucer.

37 days from seed/Truthband is about 41 days from seed.

I fed the girls yesterday with mix I had bubbling for a little over 24hrs. mix went as follows per gallon

2tsp GROW
1tsp BLOOM
1tsp MICROBLAST
1tsp CATALYST
1/2tsp PRO-TEKT
1tsp HI-BRIX

The girls took 3 gallons with a little Runoff

You have to let it sit and cool after all that. I let it sit in the fridge over night, then pulled the butter out. But forgot to take any pictures of final product. Ill take some next time im in the deep freezer. I let the mix simmer for almost 9 hours before straining it off.

Well there was good and there was bad. The Bad first. I should have paid more attention to what butter I was using. I should have found some 100% butter. But instead I used what I had which country crock. It it had 40% veg oil. So I didnt pull what I should have. But what I did do what reboil the mix after extracting existing butter and added more butter and simmered again for 3 hrs or more and did it again. And got some more butter out of it. But I havent tried that butter yet. It may not be any good at all. But it smells and looks good.

Now for the good. The butter I did get out of the first run was very good. Its really my first time with eatables, so I dont have anything to compare it to other than 1 rice crispy treat I had before, I could taste it but never got a buzz from it. But the butter I made, I made some cookie covered brownies with some if it. The brownie mix took 1/2 a stick of butter and the cookie doe took 1/2 a stick. The shit was paralyzing. My wife took a piece of bread and cleaned the butter bowl with it and ate it, then ate a piece of brownie and she was literally done for the day. Got so hi she got sick, LMAO The stuff is potent. I am definitely happy with it.
I took an OZ of trim and 4 sticks/32tbls of butter, boiled and then let simmer for almost 9 hrs. I hope my second pull is close to being as strong.

UPDATE:

I mixed my nutes yesterday. I was going to feed this morning, but I checked the ph and it was still a little low so I am giving it a few more hours to bubble. By then it should be at around 6-6.5. Then I will feed them. My mix went as follows per gallon

3tsp GROW
1tsp BLOOM
1tsp BIG BLOOMIN GUANO
1tsp CALALYST
1tsp CALMAG
1/2tsp MICROBLAST
1/2tsp PRO-TEKT
1tsp HI-BRIX

I made 3 gallons. Which should be enough for just a tad of runoff. Maybe none at all at this point. I will see how they take this and might have to start making 4 gallons.

I plan to switch to flower Monday. So Monday morning I will go out there before light on and change it from 10am-4am to 8pm-8am. I dont think it will help that much with the heat, as my temps from building to inside tent are only about 2-3 degrees higher. So if my building is 90F, it will be about 93-95 in my tent. But thats a good difference so I will keep my lights off during days. Plus this way I will be giving them 16hrs of darkness to start them off. I know some people like to go 24hrs or more but I think this is just fine. I will feed again Sunday and up their bloom in preparation. Im still waiting on my Microbes I ordered. I got my bloom and catalyst. My catalyst came with a freebie. Im not sure how well it works but I am going to try it out this grow. With the heat I am going to need all the help I can get.
