I only run the top feed every few days, I must say although i thought it wasn't that needed, when it's on the growth seems quicker. My only concern with it was because there was some soil left on the rootball it may get too soggy. Doesn't seem to care.

I am getting more heat from the 315w but i was running a fully air cooled system with the 600w so its hard to say, past few days temps have been about the same as my veg tent which is running a 400w MH bulb in a closed hood wish i had the space to do a few tests
