Led is way cheaper then anything else. Cus 1 led light (a good one) burns for 50.000 hours. HPS 10.000 with loss of light strength in 4000hrs. Uses around 50% less power. Led emits less heat, so you'll need less water and ventilation. So overall led is cheaper. I noticed that my plants take a bit longer with Led, but generates more thc. Also the UV light in led 'damages' the plant wich result in more trichomes. Pinching your buds during bloom increases trichome growth as well.

Yes but with hps u just change ya bulb i.love leds but hps is much better I just like using both at same time best of both worlds

Yes for defo led makes loads of thc it's the uva and uvb my blackberry kush is covered in frost and only been in flower about 3 weeks still hot about 6 or 7 weeks left

Yep led has been a life saver!!! Due to lack of space I have a small room that holds one 56L smart pouch. The heat in that area would be uncontrollable with hps. And work out 50.000 hours at 18 hour days. It's like 5 years or more. 12/12 it's like 8 years.. AMAZING

Also when running these led's as long as we do how much did your bill go up

I run 3 600w hps lights in a 4x8 tent no problems with heat im sat at 24-25c and night time sits at 20-22c and the past 2 grows iv hit 40.3oz and 43.5oz every 12 weeks with a 3-4 week veg time im currently flushing 10 scrogged plants now which will probablys hit that target again.

Check out the power draw the 1000 is miles less than the 900 look on Amazon dude

I dont buddy but heres a few where i am now the first pic is when they got flipped 7 weeks ago, they will be chopped on the 20th-22nd.
Trichomes are 50% cloudy 50% amber so hopefully the next 7-9 days will push them more to the amber side, pictures are terrible i no, there all ripe now though the pistols arent brown but more like a rust colour, if you want yield mate go with hps, my middle light is on a dimmable ballast that gets 450w on a morning then 600w after 4 hours, worked a treat this time around.

I had to buy what I could at the time. Lucky tho I only paid £90 for my 600w. If you see my journal I rescued my lady from a cold death!! Lol but she is loving life now
