For some reason I stopped getting notifications from this thread.
Unfortunately I couldn't make it out to hash bash @parnelli but I did spend the day grilling, smoking and flipping my plant to flowering. I should have my first homegrown buds in 8-9 weeks... Need to find something to do while I wait lol
Has anybody heard anything about the licensing, rules and regulations yet? Just wondering how things are going to shape up

Hi im from Monroe MI and im on my 1st indoor grow dwc... Im running White Widow and Super Silver Haze and they are just over 4 weeks... I use GH flora trio with rapid start silica blast hydrogaurd and heisenberg tea
Tent is 5ft by 5ft by 7ft
1200 watt phlizon led
2 air stones each bucket (950 gph air pump)
6in exaust fan
4in intake fan
1 tower oscillating fan
Temps at 74°
Humidity is at 30%

At least you made it to flower, and she looks nice, excited to see how she turns out... about 2 months ago was my VERY first time tryn dwc and my plants only lasted 6 weeks. It was very discouraging and i almost didn't start again, all the other previous grows were outside, at total of about 7 grows, i only got to taste 1 because of thieves. So I've had a pretty shitty experience so far, but i cant help but to grow, i love it. Just hope i can bring these girls to harvest@kentboy1296 welcome to the forum! If I could give you another advice and one that was hard for me is to leave the plants alone... Kinda like my wife when she tells me to leave her alone when she is watching her shows because I bug her too much. I feel the plants reacted better if I let them alone after res change. I know it sounds weird but plants growing in hydro are very touchy and reactive.
Hell, I just saw my buddy plant his clones in soil last week and literally just dump the run off water on TOP of the plant! I saw the clones yesterday and they were twice as big and no issues! I dump a drop of anything on top of mine and I am dealing with damaged leaves for a week!
Don't give up, it gets easier.

I do know what you mean about leaving them alone, i been low stress training and sometimes a foliar feed right before lights out, but definitely not giving up lol, put to much money into it lol and i enjoy seeing them grow... Im going for scrog hopefully about 28in (in that area) we will see tho... hope for the best and happy growing

The only thing I've heard about regulation and licensing in Michigan is that the legislature still has towards the end of the year to put things in place. There has been some disagreement as to which branch of State gov't should be responsible for regulation and enforcement. I don't think anything's been decided.

I've got the perfect anti-theft system for weed plants. Once it is tested word gets out to all the thieves.

Take two old school double edged razor blades break them in half and push them into a plants stalk about 6" from the soil sharp edge out. Only had to use it once. Checked on my plants one day they were pulled up but there was blood everywhere. Sounds crude and barbaric,it sure the hell is,haven't had another problem in over 30yrs. Sometimes you have to play dirty when dealing with low life weed thieves!

Thats perfect lol, i actually tried putting fish hooks all in my shit... i just hurt myself and still got stolen lol, dont gotta worry now, my stuff is inside and i have a 9mm and a 12gauge for ANY person who thinks they gonna try to get in, plus motion activated cameras to let me know lol

It sucks that one has to be concerned about having one's plants stolen. This growing season is the first where there is no need for a "guerilla grow". You can plant on ur own property. Some people may even set up video surveillance with today's technology and catch the scum bags in the act of ripping u off. Wonder what law enforcement would do if you are able to present evidence of such theft. Could the $$$ amount approach felony theft?

I think there's going to be a lot of heartbreak for outdoor growers this year. To me it feels like throwing a giant bullseye on your back with the way laws are setup. With a couple big outdoor plants you would be well over the 10.5oz limit.
The old guys, or guys/gals that have done it in the past will continue to be fine. But all the new folks snatching up harbor freight greenhouses and suddenly growing a Christmas tree farm in it in the back yard are probably going to get their doors knocked on.

Without looking in depth at the regulations I am of the understanding that each Michigan resident is allowed 12 plants at any one time. I'll probably only try to grow three or four because that's the only places I have good sunlight coverage.

Well, I hope you guys didn't waste your time on the Canna expo at Soaring beagle casino. It sucked. The goodie bag that you got when pre registering, consisted of a program, michigan law pamphlet, a wrist band, and a raffle ticket. Except for the raffle ticket, everything was available on the counters. I got a M3 dirt sample, along with a sample of pa's poop fertilizer. What a waste of 200 miles(round trip).
As far as the michigan regulations, I find it weird that our limits are listed as per person, like 2.5 oz possession have been morphed into "household" limits when it comes to plants and total possession. All those limits were per person when we voted, not per household. Oh well, I'm still having fun growing, so I won't worry about the little things, like limits!

I am pretty sure we can still have up to 10oz of dry bud at home as long as it is locked up. The 2.5oz is just to carry around. Plants don't count against your total amount of bud but clones, seedlings do count against your plant count so as long your total plant count is 12 you are good
