Mutant leaf?

Hi. My first true leaf is a weird shape.

I did over water a bit at he start but that's on the mend. The leaf itself is only 3 days old And it's not the shape I was expecting. Only started nutes yesterday so not sure it's that. Any ideas? It's the I leaf that curls down a bit.

Plant is 24 inches under led. Using canna terra soil. Fabric pot. Using a small fan.

Seedlings do that sometimes, I'm not familiar with Canna Terra, but in looking at their website it states that it is "nitrogen rich", so I'm thinking it might of gotten too much N, too early. I have a feeling it will work itself out in the next couple nodes.

What light are you using?
Move it closer to stop that stretch.

Add another 2 inches of soil it'll hold her up.
Plus your wasting valuable real-estate.

This will help you with watering.

A pot is say 12 inches high for example.
If you only put in 9 inches of soil you just wasted 3 inches of the most valuable real-estate in your tent.
The root zone.
In my Gorilla Glue clone thread there is a tutorial on how to fill pots properly.
Check it out.
Start there.

I just blew up your pic. Those clones are perfect wow. :thumb: I actually need them to slow down a bit as the flower tent is full for a couple more weeks and I'm risking these clones growing too big. Flower tent is only 100cm tall:rofl:

Meant to say it's a Koscheal 600 watt. I know it's not top range but saw reviewers claiming they had a good grow out of it.

Thank you Bill I will create a journal for the northern lights auto which is next to it in the tent. This og kush auto i think didn't have the best start In life. (Transplanted from crap soil)

Sorry to bother you .
Could this leaf by dying due to over watering and nitrogen toxicity?
It's crisp and going brown and yellow. The top leaves have dark green tips.

Hi bignewbie.
Do you know the ph of the water you're giving to the plant?
Iirc reading the canna terra website that 'soil' likes a lower pH of around 5.8, 6.0.
That may allow your plant to feed better.

Good morning my friend @Bignewbie hope you are having a good weekend.
Canna Terra Professional plus?
It has nutrients for the first couple weeks.
And your feeding so could be nutrients.
What ph are you using?
What strength are you feeding the babies?
Are you using the Canna nutrients line?
Soil should be fed at 6.3 ph alternating with plain water at 6.3.
Have you been doing this?

Hi and welcome to the forum, @Bignewbie ! Indeed, that's quite an abnormal start for a plant. The big single leaf blades are probably an indication of insufficient light. Anyway, your more recent photo looks like things have stablized and you have normal leaf growth now. I wouldn't worry about those leaves that are dying... you could just pinch them off. I notice that with young seedlings, some of the first leaves tend to sometimes have some issues, then the plant takes off and all is well.

I was worried ha! Can't believe the change from the first 4 weeks to the send 4 weeks. It's insane!

I meant to give some more info.

100cm tall.

Fed with pH 6.3 water.

Only a couple of feeds with nutes.
She showed stigmas 2 weeks ago.
Los of small bud sites and a few medium sized ones.

Will update In a few days.

You are all legends and saved my plants
