My First Grow - 420 Autos - 1000 Watts

It says to chop off all the effected yes growth immediately and you can treat with a broad spectrum fungicide or NEEM. If just chop em and wait if it spreads... I avoid using anything in flower if possible

Yeah. Appears so. You can pinch them off as they appear I believe. Or since you have so much room separate them. Just be sure to really clean that tent after flowering or they can possibly effect future plants. Nugs look nice and juicy tho!

Garden is looking really good Irondog. I wouldn't worry too much about those look like swollen calyx's to me.

Sorry for the misinformation. I agree at second look, and double checking with a friend, definitely NOT bananas. Totally thought I saw something that isn't there lol. I'm cut off

Lol he's obviously and idiot.... your doing great! I think it's reasonable to tell someone not to get their hopes too high on the first try because it's true not 100% of first time growers make it to harvest or harvest anything worth smoking. However, that being said, if you do your homework (hours of research) and can keep your temps, Ph, humidity in check, your chances of success greatly increase! I'd be willing to bet he is sour because he didn't make it to harvest his first 2 trys. Having a grow journal where several experienced people can offer advice greatly increases the chance of success as well.

To me growing is like baking. There are a very strict set of rules one must follow. Now with training your plants, that's more like cooking (an art more than a science) and offers much more forgiveness. There are some variables in growing that can and should be pushed to new limits, and some (like thinking oh, if I feed my plant protein shakes or Gatorade they'll grow better) that are they way they are for a reason. I fall victim to wanting to push boundaries but only for the variables that have been proven to offer benefits when tested.

For the most part, if you stick to the proven success of past growers, and only give your plants care and love, your golden. It's people like that dude who are ignorant, stubborn and know it all's that fail at growing, because he probably couldn't swallow what tiny bit of pride he has to ask for help, or admit he made a mistake....

Again your doing great. Keep it up!

ill probably get scolded for being off topic again lol but heres a few pics of my last comp, my handmade ceramic smokers and my comp carts.. lol sorry if everyone gets hungry

i have some fan leaves turning over amd the very top leaves curling up.. i figure that the top leaves are caused by to much heat from the light. but everything i read about leaves turning over says almost always a ph problem but i check my runoff and its 5.79 any ideas

Heat for sure up top. Leaves are probably tiring to stay cool can you move the light up??

also my new ps cob will be here next week and i think it will definitely be to close they recomend if you start under another light to start a good distance away and the most i can be away from some is max like 16... maybe i should leave the hps in and turn it down on this one?

I like that idea a lot. That or train then down some if possible. What week of flower you at?

the only problem with weaving them through the net is tbey will start covering the shorter girls... when will they stop growing vertically?
