My First Indoor Grow: Wedding Cake By Barneys Farm

If you guys could help with all your knowledge, that would be great! I’m noticing an additional yellowish by on the opposite side of the leaf and there is actually a tiny hole in it…? Both of the marks are sort of near the edge of that solo cup. I’m not sure if that would have anything to do with that, but I was looking something up and read something about it could be

Leaf Septoria

Any thoughts @Emilya Green ?

Just fed the babies some water as I am considering this Week 2 for the bigger one and week 1 for the smaller one. Gave bigger baby 1/2 cup of water with .5ml of grow big, 1 drop of big bloom & 2 drops of cal-mag.

Small one got 1/4 cup of water with 1 drop of cal-mag.

noticing the bigger ones leaf actually started to rip. Im not sure if it’s because they are kind of resting on the cup or if its the disease I posted above…I think I can kind of see tiny white dots on the leafs but i dont know of thats just the normal fuzz lol it doesnt come off. I dont see any way there could be mold or something. What would be your guys next move?

fyi both plants didnt even get enough for runoff but seemed like a good water that was needed from the cups being light in weight and dry.

These babies are lookimg absolutely phenomenal besides the bottom leaves lol Idk why both started yellowing and browning but other than that they seem pretty healthy and happy after Sundays watering.

i am concerned on when you think I should transplant as I noticed some tiny roots crawling out the solo cup holes…Since you a very familiar with this solo cup method and I’ve been listening to alot of your techniques im curious on what you think. @Emilya Green

Obviously open to all of your thoughts!

The roots finding their way out of the bottom is definitely NOT a sign to uppot. The only valid reason to uppot is when the roots become so strong in this confined space that they start needing to be watered every day because they are draining the cup of water. Until that happens, continue to work on building your first rootball with these plants. Transplanting up to the next stage should not be a race. Make the plants earn it.

Thank you so much my friend! I will continue to sticking to the script :)

From the looks of it, these two babies look pretty thirsty. My last water with nutrients was on Sunday so I’m going to water tomorrow morning and that should be right on schedule for this upcoming Sunday Hopefully that way I am following the feed schedule as directed on Fox Farms. I’m not sure if the color of those leaves look normal that dark green or if you guys think there is an issue going on

Fed these two this morning, same amounts as Sunday. I did have a question tho, is it normal for the smaller plants leafs to be droopy like that, trying to get them to pray in the air more but not sure what could be stopping it…My new mars hydro 6in exhaust fan will be here on Saturday because the one that came with the tent kit is trash and stopped moving a good amount of air out of the tent so humidity has been higher than I like Around 75-80% humidity…I’d like to get back down to around 55-60%. I also clipped the deficiency leafs on the bottom of both plants so it could focus more of its growth on fresh greens. What are ya’ll thoughts?!

If you guys can please help me try to understand why my lower leaves are starting to do the same thing as the ones I just clipped…they are starting to feel rough to their touch and slightly discoloring…im also seeing very tiny white dust or something unless its the plants fur i dont know, I really dont understand how it could be mold. My exhaust fan is working pretty shitty and humidty stays around 75% until I am able to install my new Mars Hydro exhaust fan. Im curious on these babies and I’d like to catch the causes early in these stages! Much Love guys!

If somebody can please help me try to understand what is happening to my babies & why I very much appreciate. The plants all definitely needed water. Water ranoff and all right away. I only watered about 1 cup of water each with 2 drops of Cal-Mag ph 6.3. Want to give a good refresh to them from the nutrients. Whatchu all think? Any opinions @Emilya Green what should my humidity be around ? I wonder what is causing this. Installing my new exhaust fan today to make sure air is actually being pulled out lol

Yes they have forsure in my past pictures on this thread but not lately. Last time I watered was Wednesday morning. I was going to wait to water until Sunday, but I got to the tent and the soil was very dry. like I said, the water ran off through the soil right away. I gave them both about one cup of just water and two drops of cal-mag ph 6.3. Does 1 cup seem like a right amount to feed

So im sure you all are going to get a kick out of this.. I came back to the tent from after watering after a few hours to install my new Mars Hydro exhaust fan plant still look the same. But as I was going to unplug the exhaust fan, I noticed that the corridor running from the exhaust fan was plugged into a timer. So, instead of having the lights go off after 18 hours the exhaust fan was, so I’m guessing that could be the white stuff on the leaves it’s the humidity dust or something. I am very disappointed in myself for just noticing this, but I want to see now how the plants react to 18 hours of light instead of 24 lmao

WoW 🤩 they are dancing this afternoon guys. I think I figured out my issue. That exhaust fan was a major issue imo not circulating the air out fast enough & it being way to humid. Also the lights being on 24/7 is an absolute stoner move & was not ment by any means lol. After fixing all of that & feeding just water & two drops of cal-bag they all look like they are loving the climate now. Not sure if I will be able to fix the yellowing of the bottom leaves on the medium plant. But we shall see. Will go back to nutes once they have complete full dry cycle

Current Update with natural light pics. Just watered with lil less than half cup ph 6.3 because soils seemed dry. Any thoughts on why they are droopy again? Is it because they are thirsty you think? And would it be wise now to just clip the yellowed bottom set of fan leafs :( ? Growth has definitely been seeming slow

Good evening to you,

How often do you water them with a 1/2 cup?
Do the solos have plenty of drainage holes?
When will you be getting them out of the solos?
I usually water a whole cup for the bigger baby & half for the smaller one but just experimented giving half the quantity in a period of days. Thats why being half cup. But whole cup to 1/2 cup last from anywhere from 3-4 days and I dont plan on up-potting until I find I have to water the soil because the roots are drinking it all up within a days worth. Im focusing on building a nice root ball following @Emilya Green watering methods.

Today 10/5 both of these bad girls soil was dry so they were each given a good water/feed. medium recieved 1 cup of water with 1ml of grow big & 2 drops of big bloom. Smaller recieved 1 cup of water and .5 ml of grow big and 2 drops of big bloom both pH 6.3. Im still concerned tho because today I had to clip more of the bottom fan leafs because it was dried to nothing and useless and now this other set of bottom leafs are turning again and im not sure why this is happening.

These girls are loooking like they are loving their last feed :) Spreading towards the light is what I love to see, Trying to learn how to keep them like this consistently. Going to wait until fully dried again. Next will just be water ph 6.3
