second coat of bondo on, i was going to put in ventilation but I'm not sure were over the top of the garage door or above the entrance door in that roof space then out and up the side of the house alongside the downspout to the roof. any suggestions?

i have some stuffy neighbours, you know the ones = what's that smell type.
some people say strip the floor and go bare cement some say paint. what say you?
the garage is 10 X 20
I'm going to bleach and seal the floor and spray the whole room with bug be gone also before I start, still looking at lights a friend sold me two 800 watt bestva LEDS for $100, it's a start 3 water barrels will go by stairs feed system will be on the first shelf.
i have ideas but if you know or see something pipe up.

My only suggestion would be to insulate any places in that space that aren't insulated as soon as you are able, you'll be able to control heat/cold/humidity much, much more efficiently. Okay two: just remember smells/scents fall, they don't rise. Light some incense in there on a still day and watch where the smoke goes, it will fall down to the floor, so plan your venting for smell accordingly. If you try to vent it up and out it will fall in the direction the wind is blowing. I know it's subtle but it can make a huge difference in who smells what, if you know what I mean.

It wouldn't hurt to paint the floor white. reflection works up too. I don't know that it will add anything but it wouldn't hurt. Plus more light that's a lot of room to cover. 4 1000 watt HPS wouldn't be too much light for a place that size for comparison.

i was thinking 4 600 watt HPS i have 2 600 watt LED i figure i would use them to help but they don't seem strong enough, maybe for the start they would be good...not sure.

yeah i've been thinking about the venting a lot some people tell me don't worry about it, it's legal in Canada now so i'm kinda thinking just vent it into the back yard, i don't know how strong the smell is for 30 or 40 plants soooo hmmmm Aurora cannabis has a facility you can smell for miles.lol

600's should work fine. At one time the 600 watt HPS was the most efficient light on the market. In lots of cases a 1000 is overkill. I am a firm believer in more is better when it comes to light.

The smaller lights can still be useful. Whether you use them for starts and veg. (A room that size would be really productive if you could drop in plants ready to flower). Or as side lighting when the plants get big. Always a use for stuff. Funny about the timing. I will be putting together my new set up in just a few days now that my move is over.

I'll try to take a couple of pics tomorrow, that insulation comment from althegardener2 kinda made me think = roxul on the garage door.
took weeks to get the damn paint smell out but looks good.
