So this is what I'm doing instead of a trellis. I can basically keep building the scaffold up as i need it. I welded 4 planters for the base. I have enough materials so build 3 levels on all 4 plants i think i did the math right.

Should be able to use plant ties to get creative. Maybe string some across kind of like a trellis.

Won't be ready for a while plants still need to do a lot of growing. Just making plans.

Thanks. They're finally really vegging.
Looking good, @Havocsm1! I notice that you already have sticks in place in your pots. Is this a common practice among growers? Do I risk damaging my roots if I wait until late in the grow to insert plant sticks?

Nah they have pointy ends just place them gently. I even have mine placed between the pot and soil so it's minimally invasive. I'll pull them out when I transplant to 7gal. Then as you see in the pics they won't go in the soil.

I can detatch them pretty easily. Plus they come with ties and stuff. I'll use plant ties to tie the branches to the sticks. Pretty much playing it as i go. By the time they're flowering and in the 7gal they'll be more permanent.

Thanks, @Havocsm1. I use bamboo sticks with blunt, not pointy, edges. Could that make a difference?

Not 100% sure but I doubt it would hurt much. Maybe try and sharpen the end as much as you can. I know bamboo is hollow so it may be hard to sharpen to a point.

If that's all I had I'd try and put them in earlier than later. Maybe someone here has used bamboo and can offer better advice.

I know when I transplant i usually tear some roots and it doesn't slow them down much if at all so you'll probably be ok.

This is how I train. Basically keep the first 4 branches of the plant tied horizontal for as long as I can until it's time to uppot. (Or in amnesia haze case 5 main branches) So they grow horizontal and the idea is to get a ton off shoots growing vertical off of them. Going to top when the branches reach the rim of the pot. Then let it recover and uppot shortly thereafter.

Have a great day

So I think I'm gonna wait one more week to harvest. I took a bunch of shots only to find out I have no disk space. Those shots were hard to get I have junior arthritis and can't hold the camera scope well. Anyway just from what I saw my gut says another week. Littles are blowing up. Once I upload photos to members section how do I get it on a post?
