New Babies - Growing From Seed

I've heard growing the SSH is a bit difficult considering its finicky nature but I would love to try. It smokes so smooth and I love the high.

Ok well I have been MIA for a bit. I got sick, spent almost 3 days in the hospital and my plants got their butts kicked. 1st off my hubs has the brownest thumb there is. Haha I can laugh today. Well anyways the day I was admitted my girls needed watering. They really should have been watered a day or 2 before I was admitted. I have my watering and feeding dialed in and have been doing great! No problems. Well when I was in the hospital my plants got forgotten about . Well the day after I got home (keep in mind I am barely able to get around and when I get sick or really stressed my Fibromyalgia flares up and kicks my ass) well my plants were limp, leaves dying etc. They looked HORRIBLE. My heart hit the floor. My poor babies. Keep in mind my husband is not the grower. I remind myself of that all of the time lol. Well I turned my exhaust/intake off 3 nights before I was put in the hospital (temps were dipping down into the mid 40's with lights out) i figured I would turn it back on in the morning. Well that didn't happen. When I opened my tent my temp was pushing 80 at 6a.m. so I figure my temps were in high 90's when lights on with no exhaust/intake. My plants did not fare well hot and no water I got my husband to get all of my plants out had him clean the tent while I trimmed and removed all dead and burned growth watered and hoped for the best. 3 days after I opened up my tent checking on my girls (they were doing so much better looking ok not great, but ok) and well i about fell over. I found spider mites. OMG!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK is actually what came out of my mouth. If that wasn't bad enough (completely my fault I left the top of the tent open) my 2 cats decided it was snack time. Blue Dream & my runt Black Cherry got the worst of it. Ugh!!!! I was still sick as hell so I had my husband bring in 2 box fans and I misted my tent walls and gave the girls a huge drink of water and brought in 3 pots of hot water and sat in bottom of my tent and turned off my CFL's to keep the heat down and raised my humidity to high 70's %. Until I felt up to going to the hydro store to get some Neem to treat those lil bastards. Well doing what I did helped keep them at bay. I finally felt up to going out into the real world (besides Dr appointments) and went to the hydro shop. Got home and was setting my plants out to start treatment (thanks to the Ganga gods) I did not flip 12/12 like I wanted to before I got sick! Well anyways my father in law (who lives in Washington and right now we live in Ca called and said he was 1/2 - to and hour away from our house. Ugh of all of the times to surprise us with a visit. Put my treatment on hold till he left. He is not 420 friendly at all. He ended up staying 4 days. I also have a new business that we have been trying to get off of the ground (opened up 14 days ago finally ) that this grow will help by leaps and pounds after harvest so this grow is very important. Spider Fucken Mites were not in my plans. Ugh. Well last night my treatment began. Opened up the tent checked my plants so far so good. They are doing well. Crossing my fingers.

Update on 3rd treatment for mites no signs at all. Did some more trimming and removed the last of the bad leaves. My Blue Dream is being stalked by my cat any chance she gets she chews on her. Ugh! Between the spider mites I think are gone and the cat chewing she's having a hard time. She's a tropper for sure.

Ummm... uhhhhh.... there's a gorilla in there too!

I always throw a handful of ladybugs in my tent. They're about a million for $5. Not sure if they help much, but I get to play "Where's Waldo" every time I open the zipper. Healing nicely... when is the flip?

Hey Spitz I will be flipping Saturday/Sunday. I wanted to make sure the Mites were under control. Have not seen hide nor web sense the first neem treatment. I have done 3 treatments and doing another Saturday morning was thinking about flipping Saturday night or Sunday night. Leaning towards Sunday night though. I will do another treatment 3 fays after flip then maybe once a week for the 1st 3 weeks after 1st real flowers show. ⬆
