Quick update on the FCJ clones, we took off all the buds and frosty leaves to increase the promotion of re-veg. I read that on a thread here on I'll get a photo of them now and upload them next time I do an update Peace to all

Here they are as promised, all trimmed up. Also with the small flowers we decided to give our first try at bud washing, successful so far!

Ahhhhh yeah. The Kalashnikova was in a 1L pot when we flipped her so I'm guessing that attributed too her stunting and the Cookies Kush nearly died at the start of her life so I'm happy we even get to sample her before trying again. Thank you for the help Herb, it's made me have to think and explain why they are stunted

Tonight me and my partner harvested the kalashnikova and cookies kush, here they are before and after. All washed and hanging

When we washed them man they smelled really nice! The KK has a very thyme based aroma. Excited to see how they smoke up
There will be a lot in this journal that's for sure so stick around for some exciting stuff. I don't think I'll be getting much stunting anymore, the soil is easier to with than the hydro setup

UPDATE TIME

Hey everyone! It's been a big day of gardening here for me and my partner, we bought some plants, made a lot of soil and transplanted heapppsss of plants lol. It was a fun day in the sun and soil Onto the photo's!

HYDRO SECTION

First up is the NLB auto. Mannnn is she frosting up at storm Putting on weight as she wants to and smelling more and more of blueberries everyday now Me and my partner are thinking another month and she should be ready but hey she's taken her time so far so she may continue that trend to the end.

LOS SECTION

Small stunted Fast and Vast auto, nothing really special to say about this tiny girl

All of these amazing girls have continued to just burst with growth, so happy with them

Same with these, healthiest plants we've grown to date, we also topped these beauties 3 days ago

UPDATE TIME

HYDRO SECTION

Hey guys and gals its time for an update. I have some pretty cool things going on right now with the plants so without further a due lets get into the photo's!


This NLB auto is showing cool signs of blue coloration Our blue kush from dinafem didn't blue up as much as this so its really cool to see the deep blue/purple hues coming out in this version of a blueberry cross strain I must say that from what me and my partner have grown so far we are both very much liking any strain with blueberry genetics crossed in, the smells are amazing, coloration is cool as hell and usually pretty potent medicine (from what we've grown so far). You all have probably seen SweetSue's community journal on the dark devil I was thinking of maybe creating another community thread SIMILAR to hers but with my own personal 'flare' to it i guess you would say documenting ANY strain with blueberry crossed into it, would anyone that reads this be interested in such a thread? Oh man woops got carried away with typing lol, one more thing to add is that I gave her a medium defoliation the get the light down further into her lower cola's. Enjoy!

LOS SECTION

First up in this section is our fools gold, pineapple express, 707 truthband and delahaze. Me and my partner transferred these into bigger pots, for the most part all of them have taken well to the topping/transfer except for the delahaze she is a little yellow but her new growth is nice a green so not too worried about her plus this is our first time growing a haze type strain so yeah...other than that all of them look fantastic have a look see.

UPDATE

HYDRO SECTION

Our NLB is packing on the weight slowly as her strain description says but I couldn't care if she took another 2 months honestly. She is packing on the frost with vigor plus her coloration is getting more awesome, her smell is delicious as fresh berries off the vine, pungent sweet and mouth watering. I think this strain will become a common occurrence in our seedbank by the way this girl is growing!

LOS AND OUTDOOR SECTION

I forgot to take photo's of the unknown strains but I think that can wait until tomorrow, since the lights are off lol. Since the 13/10/15 the unknown strains have been in flower, me and my partner decided this on the counts of these plants growing faster than we had planned for so oh well my first breeding project will be kind of a random selection thing but as me and my partner have discussed we can select any males that pop up and store the pollen that we collect for future breeding projects. We also have another small tent so we could isolate 2-4 plants for 'selective breeding' but we will see soon enough how many girls and boys we have in our cupboard then go from there. Also the 4 plants in the big tent have now been in flower since 14/10/15. See I told you guys things will get way crazier than last time haha Anywho lets take a look at them shall we?

Only just a group shot this time of the 4 plants in the tent, from the top left going clockwise first is the delahaze, 707 truthband, fools gold and pineapple express. Oh yeah I forgot the scrog screen has returned for a second attempt!

Oh and btw haha guess what guys? I've popped more seeds LOL! The strains are; 2x REG Mango Tango (elemental seeds), 1x FEM Lemon OG Kush (DNA genetics), 1x FEM El Fuego (DNA Genetics) and finally 1x FEM Vanilla Kush (barneys farm). Me and my partner went to a friends the other day, while we were there I helped him move one of his monster plants outside. Long story short he broke a branch and went to chuck it out, i took clones off it as to not waste the branch. So the 5 clones you see in this picture are those clones taken from a strain called Purple Paralysis, I haven't looked into the strains genetics or info as at all yet but hey they were free and I don't like waste. Win win for me

I also suffer from anxiety at times. It's why I'm in the middle of engineering a base line amendment application to rejuvenate depleted LOS setups. Becoming what most people refer to as ROLS (recycling organic living soil). Though it is ROLS with a road map. That means less soil batches need to be made. Essentially it is once the plant is grown you cut a 6 - 8 inch diameter around the base of the plant then harvest and then transplant straight into the pot with your next plant going into bloom. We are trialing two approaches currently. One involves spikes and preset rock/mineral dust layers. The other is by Compost tea drenches. Essentially making teas out of raw materials instead of using bottled nutes. If that makes any sense. I look forward to what you are doing here mate. I'm from the FNQ originally and moved to the States when I was in my mid 20's. It's a warm feeling havin a fellow Aussie on board!
