well day 82 here for "North" she handled the fim and super cropping well as you can see in my bends the outside bruising is almost all gone after only 5 days I'm prepping this weekend to put them in there permanant home I can't wait I love the week after a transplant shocking them so and then bam better than ever

so same day 82 for "Kera" here I topped her and I did one cola super cropped and I fim the two side colas you see the boo boo I made I was bending to tie down and I accidentally pulled to hard on the "y" of the first top and it split about an inch right down the middle .so I used duct tape it worked but she's doing great I'm guessing by Halloween I should be about ready to harvest at least that's my projected harvest party lol we will see that could be considered a bad thing to some but as an outdoor organic soil farmer patience is a virtue that pays off well

What's up Ohioboy, they're going well from what I can see. Is there something amiss? Your training is simple and effective, they'll shape up for you in no time.

KiG brother :green_heart:cheers

Amiss? Maybe. See I bought these seeds from seedsupreme and I wanted heirlooms but the closest they had (I could have looked more but kinda wanted to see) was the feminized so I got the feminized but I feel like there not bushing like they should I mean I'm right at like day 87 I'm just not happy with the foliage growth I guess seems like She should be bigger stronger and fuller by now

Kera is all tied down and replanted with lots of love and great home made compost
420-magazine-mobile475312127.jpg
420-magazine-mobile2094484048.jpg
and North is replanted and the super cropping is going well the fiming I did on her is starting to spread I think I got the 4 instead of the normal 2 from a topping so that's good
420-magazine-mobile525454803.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1760256673.jpg
and Ganny here she's an heirloom that I bred so I'm actually not sure she is a she but I'm projecting positive energy and thoughts towards her so she will be so isn't it cool how all the growth wraps like that to the sun on a lateral lst grow I hope I'm doing it right

so I wrapped a milk crate with screening completely enclosed it and tied it up with hemp. Then I took two small fountain pumps I had (actually I put the pumps in fist then ran the wires thru the top) and attached the power supply up to a couple small solar panels I had got the water last night in a rain we had and submerged the pumps and crate put a couple rocks on top so it wouldn't float at all and added 2 tblspn of avacado oil 2 cups worm castings and 2 shovels of compost and put it out in the sun I wonder what this experiment is gonna end up looking like?

at 3 weeks just put in the garden on the gravity drip it's crazy how big of a difference you can see in the different strains

420-magazine-mobile420303922.jpg
these two girls are right at like day 87-88 doing good but I'm worried about North cause she's the one I super cropped and look at how the bottom of the bend split open I'm freaking cause I've seen these looking cancers spread up the stem and kill the whole stem

Ok sorry it's been a week since my last entry. Girls are doing great!! After 14 days in the new squats they still didn't need water but my tea was at peak and 14 days is long enough for the second full water so that's "north" and "Kera" who are both the same age and on the same cycle. So first pics you'll see here are "North" she's my Norther Lights hybrid that I super cropped after topping initially she started to flower about 10 days ago around day 90
420-magazine-mobile1092453400.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1716364115.jpg
420-magazine-mobile179399898.jpg
so she's looking great I think the only negative I have is that she smells too much for my outdoor urban hideout but with some breeding I'm hoping to get rid of some of that I've a male Afghan Lime that I've harvested pollin from and will very carefully with a small paint brush pollinate a few of the bottom branches on both girls and this way get seed but only from the parts of the plants that I want seeded. Ok moving on. Here is "Kera" (she's again the same age as North) and is a Kera bubblegum (by the way these 2 seeds came from seedsupreme. Com) I did an original topping at node 3 then I started some "LST" training and all the cuts after the original topping are "FIM" cuts and three of the four colas that I did the "FIM" on worked and split into four instead of two!!!!! It's amazing and also my first try at these different croppings and so far they seem to be working great I know that from now on I'll never just top my girls I'll FIM THEM it's WAY WAY WAY better so here is "Kera" it's hard to see the 4 way split as it's just happening but in life u can see great let's see if I can capture for you
420-magazine-mobile1376916288.jpg
PERFECT!!! You can see it yeah!! See how the four are busting outta the flower? That's the FIM.

420-magazine-mobile823808458.jpg
I'm so glad you can kinda see the split from the FIM'ing. So now my veg cycle plants. I'm still not sure who's a boy and who's a girl as I'm an heirloom grower but for my needs males are better in a sense but still need to be separated we don't want a bunch of horny boys locked in a squat with a bunch of fertile sluts (hope not to offend but to humor) next thing ya know I'll have thousands of kids and child support would be outta the question so boys on one side girls on the other but until I can tell there here now if you wanna see how much growth can occur in 10 days look back through my journal to the last post of these pics and see how much they've grown all have been topped and sprouted on 3/22 there are 2 "bag" seeds and 2 Afghan limes one of the Afghans I'm doing "LST" on you'll see

420-magazine-mobile383339343.jpg
so on to some details. My two in flower get a good 12 hours of DIRECT sun light and the remainder of light time is indirect the four still in veg get about 8 hrs of DIRECT sun light and the rest indirect. I water with rain water and on the rare occasion that isn't available then I buy demineralized water. I make my own worm compost tea and water with that every other water and as I said before I'm watering my flowering girls once every 14 days (but actually I think it'll be longer this time) and my flowerers are at day 83? ( well they sprouted on 2/8 so I'm bad with math) I'm hoping by Halloween to be dried with these two in flower now and the next cycle around Xmas. Let's see how close I am in the end. Thanks for checking me out all. Until next time be safe

how could I forget "Ganny" my hermaphrodite. He/she sprouted in December it's an Afghan Lime that was an experiment that worked out better than I could have ever expected. I did it inside with different colored lights and never just dark closest thing to dark was a black light and I did the "cycle" until I saw it sex and then outside it went into sunlight for the first time ever around mid February into about 4 hrs of direct and the rest indirect and night time darkness for the first time ever. Did that for 30 days (about) then I put it into a spot of about 11-12 hrs of direct sunlight and have kept it there since. I've gotten a few tenths of a gram of pollen harvested and so far 3 seeds that I've started to germ today actually an as you can see it's also about to form some flowers so I'm excited about that and it's only 7 inches tall after what almost 5 months I feel like the mad scientist sometimes messing with the plants genes like this ..... I LOVE IT !!!!!!!

So I took the anchors off of the one Afghan I had staked down
420-magazine-mobile1100889714.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1877245198.jpg
so this next set of pics is the same exact strain only difference is one was staked the other wasn't. And when I germinated the bigger one I did it in just peat moss and kept it in just peat moss until node 3 and first topping then I planted into the squat but I left the peat moss and planted it in the soil as well but look how thick the stalk is and big the foliage is

now the two bag seed I have.

420-magazine-mobile393049217.jpg
420-magazine-mobile1069410756.jpg
obviously the bag seeds are a pure Sativa so for me that's good now "North" she handled the FIM ing beautifully
420-magazine-mobile1434496685.jpg
420-magazine-mobile872759232.jpg
420-magazine-mobile423937702.jpg
i think that last pic u can really see them I turned 4 colas into 16!!!!!!! Amazing now "Kera" here I took off her anchors to kinda achieve the same thing shocking her to a growth spurt as she is just beginning to flower I FIM two of her colas I should have done all of them but here she is
420-magazine-mobile1565878926.jpg
thats a FIM you can tell
420-magazine-mobile2014617201.jpg
420-magazine-mobile2000949131.jpg
with the rain water yesterday morning I've got saved and bubbling as I type has been for almost 24 hrs just plain ol rain water trying to get rid of Nast gasses then I'll add my compost worm castings bat guano and fish fertilizer for my tea bubble that for a couple 4 days and start blasting my girls in flower with that and then I am also making a kelp foliar spray that I'll use every 3 days for the first 30 days of flower until next time. .️positive energies flow!!!!

Ohioboy!! Love the outdoor experiments! Just harvested my first outdoor crop and transplanted some clones. I am lucky and can get two harvests outdoors a year. Nothing beats the great outdoors! It is the cost effective way to go. I'm originally from Newark Ahiya myself! Your journal will be fun to follow:thumb:

Sorry I'm late, you are doing lots of good work. Your plants just need to grow some leaves. I'm an indoor guy and when I see plant at 80 days, I think of seeing this.

It must be hard to have to wait as long as you do for meds. With clone's, my 4x4 tent can dispatch over 700 grams in under 80 days. I'll have to try outside growing some time.

Cheers
