Hello,

I’m having some issues with an Autoflower, I am growing.

Medium 8 litre pot
  • 4 litres peat.
  • 2 litres perlite
  • 2 litres Worm castings
Initial amendment mix
  • Lime - 10ml
  • Dem earth- 50ml
  • Cal-mag - 20ml
  • Rock dust - 40ml
  • Mycorrhizal 20ml
  • 444 - 60ml
  • 284 - 20ml

Top Dress 1 Day 24
  • Worm casting 40ml
  • 1-5-10 - 10ml
  • 284 - 10ml
Temps 20-24C.
RH. 53-60%

she is getting 24/0 light schedule. And is currently on day 52 from seed. She showed her pistols on day 29.

I fed her some worm casting, molasses and seaweed extract tea 10 days ago. And fed her some cal mag 2 days ago.

I notice the leaf tips have turned brown and curled up since I fed the calmag 2 days ago.

My plan is to top dress her once the pot total dries out and give her another worm casting tea with some added Epsom salt.

Can someone confirm if this plan is ok? Or is there anything else I should do?

Let me know if you need any more details

Thanks

Hey and welcome to the forum!

There's some vital information missing in the post like how long the soils been cooked before being used and why the use of millilitres instead of grams for dry amendments? Some kind of scoop?

Lime - 10ml - What kind of lime?

Dem earth- 50ml - What's this diatomaceous earth?

Cal-mag - 20ml - What brand and type? 4-0-0, 1-0-0 or any organic type?

Rock dust - 40ml - What kind of rock dust? What's in it?

Mycorrhizal 20ml - A better and cheaper alternative for making nutrients break down and become available is Lactobacillus acid. Mykos is present in most local environments and only need a good environment to inoculate and grow.

444 - 60ml Gaia Green?

284 - 20ml Gaia Green?

It's very hard to do organics well in small pots indoors. You need to premix and "cook" your soil in larger volumes for months and then use it as regular transplanting soil 2-3 times throughout the grow. Many newcomers miss or ignore this vital step for making a organic soil mix.

Cheers!

Hey mate,

Cheers for reply.

I pre soaked medium for 5 days just. And was place in tent for 24 hrs before sowing directly in final pot.

Lime just says garden line. See pic 1

Yes diatomaceous earth. (I just can’t spell it.) 😂

I use a brand called Dr Forest (1-0-0). See pic 2 (Based in UK)

Rock Dust. See pic 3

Lactobacillus - I’ll look into this. Never heard of it.

Again my 444 and 284. Is Dr Forest. See pic 4 and 5.

let me know if u need anything else

Thanks

Hi.

Thanks for reply,

Yeah I hear ya mate. I wish I had more space to grow bigger plants.

I do 1 gallons regularly, I only got a small setup. And I like to run multiple strains.

I’ve grown some lovely plants in smaller pots of living soil with no issues at all.

Here’s my next run. 4 x 1 gallons.

Thanks

Hard to get things balanced doing organic in such a tiny pot.

If you really want to do organic especially if you want to do Living Organic Soil then you should use a minimum of 15 gallon fabric pots.

Hey,

So I’m currently brewing a tea to give them tomorrow now.

Tea includes:

Tea (3 litres)

  • Worm casting 125ml
  • Molasses 15ml
  • Seaweed 15ml
  • Epsom Salt 7ml

I’ll brew it for 24 hrs.

Here’s a picture of the tent today. Hopefully she perks up. Let see. I’ll keep use posted.

Thanks
