  • Guidelines
    • I would appreciate it if we can keep all the conversations about this grow in my PK Perpetual Grow & offtopic conversations anything you would like to discuss or ask about concerning this grow or anything else
    • This journal is only for me to write my progress and to ensure that the reader is able to follow the grow, i would like the grow to be post after post and not every five pages a little update. With that out of the way, here is what i've got setup
  • Room Setup
    • 6ft length x 3ft width x 8ft height is the grow area

    • I have styrofoam that has a reflective sheeting on the sides and i've nailed that to the walls. This will ensure that the heat stays within the room which helps during winter time and it will ensure that all the energy of the light is reflecting back to the plant.

      Lighting
    • For light i am currently running TS1000 from @Mars Hydro which is anchored to the ceiling with single rope
    • I am also expecting a mars hydro FC3000 which will be set in this room and the TS1000 will go back to the tent which will become a veg area

  • Rez Setup
    • I've purchased a 54L/16 Gallon tote from local hardware store which will hold about 12.5 gallon of water until it reaches the bottom of the mesh pot.
    • The meshpot consist of clay pots with happy faces apparently :laughtwo::laughtwo:
    • I have a small flat stone diffuser in the rez that is connected to a 120mps air pump.
    • Since the res i must bigger, for now i've got a aquarium flow pump which rotates the rez water. I primarily did this for now cuz i don't have a way of cooling that big rez.
Currently the plant is in Veg mode. I am not counting days and just watching her performance and what i've learned over the months from growers on here. Here are some pictures of the plant and the room setup

The mars hydro light schedule is set to 4/20 with 20 hours light being on
Currently i am trying to figure how to make the rez water colder. I've seen members having a fan right above the lid, but i'm not sure if that would make the temps lower since the temp from the room is at 25cHere is how inside the rez looks like. You can see how the aquarium pump is making sure there is a water circulation.

I've started the low stress training to give a chance to the other branches that are growing. I was thinking of super cropping instead of topping. Let me know in my offtopic thread your thoughts!

Currently the rez parameters are as follow:
12.5 gallons of water
MC 6g Part B and 10 grams part A
PH down 22ml
Z9 7.5ml Part A and 7.5ml part B

Current temp in rez 21.5
Current temp and RH 25c/30%

see you all in my Perpetual Grow & offtopic conversations

After a bit of cutting and figuring out where i want the holes on the rez lid, i was able to put the 4" ducting in the hole so that when the temperatures go above 21c the intake would activate and make the rez water cold.

at the moment our outside temperatures are at zero celcius so i am using that to cool down the air.
At the other side of the ducting i have a window mesh in front of the ducting. This way no flies or insects get sucked in.
The rez on the right was just put to place. I don't have a plant for it yet so its not running. I've got a seed in a glass of water and will be waiting for it to pup open so i can do a wet paper towel method and then put it into its place.

don't forget to post your comments or questions in my PK Perpetual Grow & offtopic conversations :thanks:

Paint the lid black ..
I know you think those blankets are working but I promise you light will get in . That could help with your temps also !
good luck pk !
