That's incredible :adore::drool:
I'm normally not a fan of autos but I'm going to make an exception. :welldone:
Incredible colors, with just a couple pretty white pistils.
You'll have to keep us updated on her progress.
I'd love to see those colas when you harvest.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend my friend @Kilbarrog .
Take care.

Kind of a new grower myself. But the biggest thing I learned is feed them half the recommended dose of nutrients as they don't like too much food & increase as necessary.
This may be true for some strains. :Namaste:
I don't like the volume you get from autos so I usually don't grow them.
But of the dozen or so I've tried over the years I fed them the same as the rest of my garden.
Full strength nutrients to run off every day.
I never get lock outs or burnt plants.
I'm a big proponent of growing big healthy roots.
This might help with my autos can't be 100% sure.
But fair enough start with weak nutrients but I'd try an incremental increase.
But that's just me I guess.
I prefer to push the limits in my garden.
More light & more food :morenutes: have always been my mantra, hehe.
Everyone does what works best for them.
And obviously your garden is Amazing. :bravo:
Keep up the good work my friend.
Take care.

There’s some great guys breeding autos these days, they’ve come a long way. The only thing lagging is the yields , I just grew a strawberry crinkle, the weed is great but I only got alittle under 3 ozs. I enjoy them because their usually done in 3 months, I just don’t have the patience. The indica im Growing was just tested, it’s as good as any photo they just don’t have the yield, you can’t argue a plant giving you a lb or 2 as opposed to 2-4 ozs . Especially since I’m smoking everyday , my stash is running low lol

Good morning Old g.
I see your point and agree.
They have improved and some are excellent.
Some
For consistency I prefer photos.
I know exactly what she needs and when.
If you run my potting method in coco you can do a photo in 3 months with consistently better results than any auto you grow.
If your looking for quick harvests.
But if you have a separate veg room your golden.
Just put one or two plants into the flower room every 4 weeks.
You will have a monthly harvest and a non stop supply of pot.
I find that very rewarding.
Hope your doing well my friend.

Think I’ll have to do that Bill, it’s getting very disappointing to do everything you can to these plants and only getting 2 ozs. That’s a joke, I give some to friends and when I’m done I barely have anything left for myself. And I don’t care how good of a grower you are , these plants are only capable of 2-4 ozs

I agree there.
Why put 3-4 months work into a girl that can't guarantee a decent volume come harvest time.
Just a couple minor changes in the way your pots are filled and simple lst will get you a huge increase in volume.
Using photo fems from a reputable breeder will also make a huge improvement.
It's all I will pop.
I don't touch regs, autos or found seeds. ( bag seed )
I'll start running clones when I have the mother's ready.
I can cut a 16" clone and have it ready for flower in under 4 weeks.
Do 30 of those a month and see how your harvest looks.
Any questions don't hesitate Amigo.
We are all here to learn.;)

I'd only harvest 10 to 12 a month on average.
Usually 2 lbs of hard bud a month trimed , dried & cured which is doable on your own.
But I made medicinal products with it at the same time and shipped all over Canada.
So 55 girls, R&D plus production and packaging.
We had great packaging with ingredients and everything.
I stocked gift shops and spa's, in Ontario.
I also had contact-less pick up at the house and delivery across Canada.
And developed a revolutionary potting method in my spare time.
110 % ;)
30 a month would be a lot of work.
Well there you go my fall harvest was always a trim party and a bowl trim event.
I had 8 lbs from that big Jher alone, and there were 20 others on deck.
It's doable if your organized with some help.
It's usually easy to find a couple volunteers. :ciao:
Free pot is hard to resist.
Funny thing is I give it to everyone anyway.
I've given away probably 2 lbs of my fall harvest.
I'm like the Easter Bunny of pot.
I leave a trail everywhere I go. Only its not chocolate eggs Hehe

Some people have great results with Auto’s. Unfortunately I’m not one of them but check @Krissi Carbone or @Emilya Green GJs they have some really great yields. CL🍀

Are you still using your 60w light ?

If so, that is likely your most limiting factor...

Cheers

No brother I have a 150watt Viparspectra, huge difference to put it mildly. I’m growing a marathon OG under her , day 46 and the plant is so sticky I try not to touch her. I think what you really miss are the terepene production under a weak lite. Everything I grew was grape something or other , while the weed was good it tasted nothing like grape. I put my last Gro strawberrie crinkle under her for only 3 weeks and it tasted just like strawberry. Yes it’s a whole nother ballgame under a good lite
