Quantum Board 600h height, wattage advise needed

That's huge!!!

Yes and yes..lol

It needs a bit more light, thus why I'm adding two more bds soon, out me close to 600w

Did it all myself, not a kit, raw materials..and worked out fantastic
Nice!! I hope my 600h will get good coverage, maybe something for in the future to look out to building something like this.

So are u getting lights for the entire thing????

Not at first. My personal grow has two 1000w hps in it. I will put those in the new grow to get a small crop growing. I'm going to use led in my personal grow to see what outcome I get from led. If they do good then I will buy enough light to do four 4*4 tables. Then I will add 2 tables every 2 months until it's filled up.

I just wish they came in 2700k or atleast a row or 2 of diodes on a panel or a couple far red.
You can buy 1 inch strips that are about 16 inches long. Have 96 diodes in each strip. 6 strips and an HLG240H-24a driver will do it. I bought 6 of the 2700K and 6 of the 3500K and alternated them on two cookie sheets held together with C channel aluminum. I used two drivers in case one fails, I have half the lights still running. They sell the strips on the big auction site. If you choose to do that. PM me and I will send you the link to the seller I bought from. Ed

Thankyou for the info! I have a few different pages bookmarked that offer supplemental lighting....that why I was looking for a bigger heatsink so I could put a strip light between panels. I would build a frame n use individual sinks but the panels I want to use (the ones on the hlg600) are out of stock everywhere and the smaller panels end up costing way more with the extra driver to get the same 600 watt .
Maybe I'm over thinking it. Maybe I'm under thinking it I don't know lol

3000k is great for flower, almost as good as 2700k

This is my flower tent today, 6-qb132 bds, but am adding two more when I get motivated. Currently it runs about 400w, be about 550w when done
132s don't need heatsinks

Quick question for ya . For 6 panels at 120 watts each what do you think ideal frame size would be? 32*32?
