The70's 2nd Grow! 3 Strains, 3 Plants

Well, here we go, my second grow. This time im doing (4) plants, (4) separate strains.

This run is all photo periods, Mac1, AppleFritter, GG4, WaterMellon Zkittles.

My early vegge Lite is a couple Quantum style samsung boards low wattage. I’ll probably need no more that 200watts til they get moved to the bigger tent

My (late vegge/flower) lite is the Fold-8 from MedicGrow in a 4’x4’ using dual 4” ac infinity T4’s inlines and bluetooth controler67

Vegge tent is a 2’x4’x5’(tall) 4”inline fan

I’ll be using GaiaGreen 444 all purpose organic dry amendment and the 284 Bloom. For the transition from vegge to flower a 50/50 of 444/284, and for flower 284 exclusively. Soil is GaiaGreen living soil and wormcastings 75/25%

I start right in soil, little 1qt pots with a tiny bit of water, the heat mat it up and running to warm things up. The amended soil is perfect for the first 4wks, then into 2.6gal, and finish off into 5gal pots.

Cool looking set up. Someday I will try an indoor grow. There are a lot of options.

Here we go, the seeds go directly in like last time cause im just to lazy. I like the qt. Containers, plenty of room, food and room to grow. Last grow i went from these to 2.5gallon, then 5gallon.

Just finished germinating, and now seedling a White Widow for my first winter scrog. I will be doing a journal and attempt to get 800 - 900 grams for a one plant scrog

100% the GG4 Didnt crack last time, then i paper toweled them and planted the spike pointing down and it still died, im crossing my fingers this time, i believe i planted 2 seeds, we’ll see.

Thats a lot

The Fold8 is a bear, i only flowered in 80%, it was melting my plants in my 4x4 at 100%, it would have required larger fans too, the 4’s are nice, but i bet the 8” are a freakin tornado

I tryed the 4” fan i had on hand in the vegge tent and it didnt slow down enough, it didnt have a controler, just a dimmer, i ordred another S4……

Im not thrilled with the temps and humidity as usual, its what makes us good, balancing RH/Temp……

So, we’re at 60%RH and 75°, i would prefer 75% and 75-80°

The Quantum boards are at 120watts….

I needed a real humidifier so i picked up a levoit 300s wifi like the flower tent, this and the slower speeds of the new fan will help me dial in a good early vegge.

It would be really cool to help a friend bypass all this trial and error and set up a killer indoor system.

I put some plastic wrap over the tops of my little pots hoping to keep in the moisture in the soil. For some really weird reason the humidity in the vegge tent was very low, and now in the 80’s where i want in….. ahhhhh the mysteries of griw tents Lol

I've always placed my seeds directly in a EZ-Gro plug without soaking or paper towels, and they all pop after 3-4 days.

Happy to have you along ! More input the better. My used T4 showed up this morning. Compared to my cheapie 4” these things are the Cat Meow! So smooth, so quiet, extremely efficient. All set and ready for seedlings………..Hello, seedlings where are you Lmao

Most of all the 10 fan speed settings are perfect, i knew that if i set it at speed1 it would be perfect as there isnt a lot of room in this tent, i had to exhaust, but without an extremely low settings my humidity would be evacuated.

I have mine on 5 and will go on when humidity hits 80 then bring fresh air in every 3 4 minutes or so seems to be doing well.

Yup, its a funny relationship Temp and relative humidity. My basement is usually 68° and 50%RH a good starting point
