Getting very close… I still see some clear ones. It really depends on the high you’re chasing.
Check out my time to harvest link in my signature. That will help explain ripeness and the effects.
You might check out my other links below regarding harvest, washing, and curing.

Looks like she still has some white pistils? But the majority have browned. Always a harder call (for me) when theres still some left.

But I think as usual AdaminCO called it :green_heart:

I personally like a heavy body high, so if I have a sativa hybrid, I’ll let it roll into more amber to chill it out a bit 50% or more depending on the strain. I ran an Afghan and OG strain 21 weeks to get it tamed down. Definitely worked.

Typical Indicas hybrids I run to about 30% amber.

Pure Indicas maybe 0-5% amber.

I you like the heady racy high, wait until the (very minimal) clear trics you have left turn cloudy with usually about 0-5% amber. That’s where you get the most potency.

I feed one last time, hold mine over in the dark for 36 hours, then chop, wash, hang, and on to the cure.

Be sure to have your curing process down. Nothing like screwing up a 5-7 month project at the last stretch.

That plant has 3 to 5 weeks left. The calyxes haven’t begun to swell yet. Tons of white pistils and the pistils that have turned color are all long stretched out. Wait till the calyxes swell and appear to engulf those pistils.
Those trichome close ups are worthless to telling the ripeness of your plant. The trichomes on the leaves always go amber first. Has nothing to do with plant readiness. Learn what a ripe bud looks like, then you can play with your magnifying glass.

You typically don’t want to see white pistils when you harvest… and no, you don’t want to focus on sugar leaf trics, but checking actual bud trics is the ONLY way to tell the ripeness of the tric itself.

I’m thinking 2-3 weeks for top potency.
You don’t want loose airy buds and that will happen if you harvest too soon.

Here’s another bud that’s swelled up. Notice you can’t really make out the leafs.
