Thanks stinky for those good words and all you guys for watching my journal... OK, got word back and the breeder says that the fat pistils are from the hash side and the high THC comes from the G-13 side of the family..

How would you compare the Procyon 100 to other LEDs? Ever consider a uvb light as well?

I have not used any other LEDS so I can't compare. I am happy with it.. I will not add anything else for the LED grow, it will be used for veg only from here on out...

The temps have been crazy here..-17 last night.... The daytime temps are not much above zero. I was able to get the flower room down to 73 and could have gone lower... The plants are loving the weather, they are pointing straight up, reaching for the fake sun. Yep, more pics, know you guys gotta be getting sick of them... To bad...

Those are some nice looking plants, can't wait to see the yields! I've got myself a small LED panel, I guess a knockoff (25$), I bought on ebay, but after a bit more than a week under the light from sprout, they are the same as the one's I have under cfl/fluros. Since the Leds are so expensive I was considering building one myself. The benefits from the led's (less heat and lower electric bills) make it appealing to me, but there's the price issue...and skill issue if I want to build one (I don't know much about electronics).

OK, so here we are day 33 for the G and 30 for the DW/BG... Everything is going good, the BG is @ 35.5" and the DW is @ 38.5" They are both slowing down on the vertical growth and have both started showing some sugar..Looks like they may only get into the low to mid 40's!! I was hping for atleast 4' plants..I think the BG would have made it if I didn't leave it under the LED for two weeks in 12/12. OK, the Irie Garden

Thank you Ms. Fox , Doc and M4... I think they really enjoy the cold weather.. The flowering room now stays between 76 and 81 depending how much I crack the windows. I was able to drop the lights to within four inches off the canopy and keep the mid to high seventies for temp. I think my snake is getting a little pissy with the cold room..
M4, this grow soil is the FF ocean forest and their organic mixed.. I use most the guanos in the soil and in teas at different stages, fish shit, worm shit, Lots and lots of shit Sea weed, and the FF GB,BB, and TB and Beastie B and cha ching, and Age old Bloom and flower and black strap molasses at times.... Some plants are fed almost all organic and some are mixed org and chem.

Hey Irie. Reading through the earlier portions of your journal, you and others mention that short, stout plants are good signs. May I ask why this is? Wouldn't the plant produce higher yields if it were taller with more nodes and thus more branches for potential bud sights? I don't get it, please help?

Thanks Music.. Since you basically have around 3' of usable light with HIDS it allows me to have many more sites in that distance. It shows me that my lights are good(if they start to open up I will drop the light closer) and makes for some seriously tight nuggage. I think the bigger ones are more airy and light and don't get the light penetration i am after. I grow mostly indica dom. hybrids and Indicas so I crave nice tight nuggage..Look at the spacing in the outdoor plants, the ones getting good light are tight and the ones that are shaded are not..

So i pulled everyone out and cleaned the flower room and did some inspections.. Everything seems to be good. Some more BUDPORN!!

Plants look awesome dude. How far are they into flowering? I want to compare to my flowering plants.

It'd be really helpful if you posted days in when posting pictures too. Just for people like me that are too lazy to read through a 250+ post thread.
