Hi everybody! This will be my first grow journal. I figured that I would post it so I could benefit from any tips and comments that you may have. This is not exactly my first grow but I am relatively new to it. I have only been growing inside for about 18 months or so. So please feel free to leave any advice, I will certainly grow from it!
This grow is in a 4 x 4 tent. It will be a small grow in this tent, only 2 plants. Wanted to see if I could fill the tent with 2, instead of 4. I decided to go with Wedding Cake feminized seed and a Blue Dream feminized seed, both strains that I have not grown before but have tried and really liked so ..
The tent is equipped with 2 x 1000w LED lights, Likesuns, full spectrum. With both the Veg and Bloom switches at on. The tent has a 6 inch 240cfm intake fan as well as a 6 inch 390cfm exhaust fan, which vents direct outside, through the window. Also has a 7 inch circulation fan. Of course, it is also equipped with a carbon filter.
Plants are being grown in a RDWC set-up, Macgyvered by myself. Both plants have a 2" x 4" air stone under them, powered by a Terra 60 - 100g air pump. Lot's of bubbles. The Fill/Drain reservoir has a 400 gph water pump that turns on every 6 hrs for 15 minutes, basically drip feeding them 4 times a day. The reservoirs are converted 5 gallon pails, with 8 inch net pot tops, filled with clay pellets. And I used Groden cubes to start the seeds.
As you will see in the following pics, these girls were kinda trained. I hang a net over the babies about 10 inches or so then proceed to tie down the tops as they grow through the net. They were vegetated, from the point they popped from the cube for about 5 and a half weeks. They were on a 16/8 cycle. This journal though starts with them being 4 days into the flower cycle. I used Advanced Nutrients PH Perfect for the veg cycle and will be using the same nutes for the flower phase, as well as Big Bud & Overdrive. Flawless Finish The last 10 days about.
And so here we are 4 days into flower.... The first pic is both of them, the second is Wedding cake and the third is Blue Dream.
