Whats Up 420 Magazine just figured I'd start a late journal on my current grow. I would appreciate any advice on improving my setup/grow so feel free on giving me your input.

Setup:

4x4 Veg Tent with 8 bulb T5s
7x7 (6x4 SCROG) Flower Tent with 2 600 Watt HPS
Medium: Fox Farm Soil/Perlite/Earthworm Castings/Compost/Dr Flower Nitrogen Booster
Feeding Fox Farm Nutrients with 100ppm Tap Water
Have 4 strains of Mean Green Martian flowering then 4 girls in Veg (Glueberry OG, Chemdog, Blue Dream, and Pineapple Express)

Quick update, so I figured I'd show the you guys my setup. Im running a 6 inch Hurricane inline fan hooked to 6 inch Phresh carbon filter exhausting out the basement window then have another 6 inch Hurricane fan blowing fresh air through the hoods to cool the bulbs. For air circulation I have 2 window fans and a 16 inch Active Air Oscillating fan.

Temperatures in Flower tent are 79 degrees high 72 low and RH around 45-55%. All feeding PH'd to 6.4-6.6 depending on PPM's runoff.

Chemdog was planted 1 week prior to the others due to a Ghost Train Haze #1 strain not germinating.

Day 31 Nug Shots did a Feeding today of Fox Farm Bloom Booster, CalMag, and Molasses PH'd to 6.5

Alright guys quick update so I decided it was time to upgrade. not sure if you guys have heard of Optic LED's but I jut put in a order for 2 Optic 4s and 2 Optic 1s (supplemental lighting). These lights have 4 50 Watt Cree CXA 2530 COBs and 64 5 Watt Bridgelux and Epistar LEDs with badass PAR readings. Weston Gregory over at Optic gave me an awesome deal on these lights and hooked me up with an Instant $140 discount code so I had to jump on the opportunity and purchase these. Im not sure if Ill put these lights in on my current grow because of stress issues, what do you guys think? But they will definitely be Flowering the 4 I have in Veg right now.

Quick update so I fed them last night. Mixed up a 5 gallon bucket with 1/4 strength Fox Farm Big Bloom (5 tablespoons, 1 per gallon) Molasses (15 ml, 3ml per gallon) and 1/4 strength CalMag ( 10 ml, 2 ml per gallon) Fed each plant evenly, they are all in 5 gallon pots, here they are after their feed.

Checked on them after work today and noticed some yellow leaves on some colas and burnt tips, not enought nutrients maybe? Been using about 1/4 - 1/3 strength when they're ready to be watered. But other than that they're looking good, here's some pictures. And its only like

Here's the 4 that are in Veg fed the Glueberry OG and Pineapple Express with RO Water and Molasses. Top row, left to right: Glueberry OG, Pineapple Express. Bottom row, left to right: Blue Dream, Chemdawgg all Seem to be doing looking healthy!!

Also it seems to be only the back right plant with yellowish/brown tips. Every feed is PH'd to 6.5 in Super soil blend

Day 34: I took a picture immediately after lights went off last night.

I've had a HUGE problem with Gnats they're literally everywhere as you can see in some pictures I have 3/4-1inch of GnatMix as a top layer above the soil. As well as sticky traps and I spray neem oil as needed depending if I can see them or not. This has definitely been one of the few issues I have came across in my first. So I see a coco coir upgrade in the near future.

Looking good man. They look pretty sticky, nice trichomes.
You got a great first grow going, gonna be a nice harvest.
I hate those damn nats. Looks like your taking good measures to take care of them.

Update Day 36: Fed all the girls last night with half strength Grow Big and Big Bloom, PH'd to 6.6 Realized some yellowing leaves. Light stress? Nitrogen Deficiency? Or is this normal? I Raised the light as high as I could so its 23 inches away from the canopy. It's only the colas that are closest to the light. Here are some pictures.

Update Day 28 from Seedling: Fed the Glueberry OG this morning which is why she's looking so droopy hopefully I didnt overwater. Also did some LST on the other girls Blue Dream, Pineapple Express, and Chemdog (Day 19).
