Tio Hector's Indoor Auto Grow - Purple Kush, Northern Lights, Cheese, Amnesia

Welcome to my first grow of 2018
This grow I'll be trying 4 different auto stains from Canuk Seeds
Purple Kush
Northern Lights
Cheese
Amnesia

I popped the seeds into Jiffy peat pods today, using a heat pad and mini greenhouse
I will be growing in soil, using my own mix, consisting of
Sphagnum peat
perlite
earth worm castings
alfalfa meal
bone meal
kelp meal

This mix should be good without additional nutes for about 30 days
I plan to use General Hydroponics Flora after first 30 days
Grow space is 4' X 5'
I'll be using LED light panel (can't say the name)
fresh air available
exhaust available

Purple Kush popped in one day...I’m impressed ...so quick. I was expecting 2-3 days
Still waiting on Amnesia, cheese and NL to pop

All seeds have popped
Battling bitter cold, it’s been minus 22 to -27 the last week
The grow room is doing not to bad temp between 20 -26
Hope the little buggers survive

So we made it through the Polar Vortex
Purple Kush and Northern Lights are doing well, Amnesia is coming along, cheese not doing well at all.
First time doing autos so a learning curve
feeding with RO water right now.

NL has a bit if a twist to one leaf

Amnesia a bit smaller but took 3 days more to pop up

Thinking of brewing up some organic tea for them, I haven't grown autos before so any input or suggestion are welcome.

Looking good so far. No experience with auto's personally.
Do you have a pH pen to measure run off?
-30 plus windchill is not fun is it.

Purple Kush day 20 from planting seed, day 18 up

Northern Lights day 20 from planting seed, day 14 up

First tea feeding last night, they seem to like it.
I mixed 1/3 cup of guano mix with 2 gal of water in a bubbler for about 24 hrs.

I’ve started another tea brewing
This weekend I’ll start to ponytail the purple kush and the NL
The amnesia are coming along for 15 days old

Today day 23 or 24 ...hard to keep track of time lol
A little ponytail and light LST
I don’t have pipe cleaners for ponytail so I used gardening ties
I lightly pulled down 2 leaves on each plant and holding them down with paper clips
I’ll releas the ponytail after about 6 hours

That does sound rather low. I'm sure a humidifier will fix you right up. I suspect you ambient humidity is running low up in Canada with low temps. I'm looking pretty good with humidity sitting at 73%. Now if I could just get my beans to start popping.

I started some more beans this afternoon and going to put them in Rockwool cubes and keep them in the propagation hood ontop of a heating mat.

Hope those beans pop for you soon.
You should see a big difference using the rock wool cubes.
I did 4 in peat pods and 3 in paper towel
1 in the peat pods died and only 1 in the paper towel sprouted tap root
So I’ll keep using peat pods or rock wool cubes from now on.

The inside lower shoots are coming with the ponytail getting extra light to them definitely helps with them growing

I like the pony tailing. I am definitely going go do some once my plants get large enough. Looks like your girls is responding well to it.

So far so good, NL & PK seem to be responding well.
They started to look a little droopy so I drop the heat in the room from 28 to 26
Today they look very happy and the inner sprouts are growing well
6 hrs pony tailing the last 2 days
I’ll continue for the next week...I’ll update how that goes
