...and the bondage begins (day 21 from seed). The sewing awl comes in handy regularly, including putting the line through the fabric pot and making small adjustments with tiny pieces and parts. She's looking pretty good for being defoliated and watered yesterday.

Hey there InfiniteJuan. Your plants look so professionally manicured. Very symmetrical. My inner OCD thanks you lol. Checked out your first grow and damn those are some monster colas! Really hope I can get buds as big as yours. Just gonna pull up a bean bag chair and hangout if that's chill. I'm currently growing some Aurora Indica and one of their parent plants is Northern Lights. Beautiful name too. Makes me think about ripping some fatty bong tokes in Alaska to the Aurora Borealis haha. I've never grown Auto so I'm curious of their growth patterns compared to Photoperiod plants. Looks really good man. Keep up the great work.

Hey DB, welcome to the board and to my journal! Thanks for dropping in and for the compliments. When thinking of other NLAs here, you may be interested in checking out Snid's and MetalPoet's; Mono won last month with a NL (not an auto).

I'm pretty happy with the NLA I've been growing. Looking to get into something with more of a 2:1 CBD:THC ratio next but I'm dragging my feet on the seed buying part. I'm thinking of starting 1 new plant approximately every 30 days and see how that works out for my system.

I just had a read through your journal. You're looking real solid on your end too! Glad you're aboard! :passitleft:

So yesterday the string seemed to be restricting her branch diameter, so I cut them off and replaced with the metal stakes. Also, is it really a flux when the stem stretched so much and everything is so high above the soil? Whatever it's called, I'm going to continue with the diligent training.

Looking well. Be careful with the string, you don't want it cutting into the limb. I use a rubber coated wire, quite think and maintains it shape. :passitleft:
Yep, that's what was happening and now I'm using the rubber wire attached to string. :)

I'm just trying to keep her straight and level.. also defoliating unnecessary parts, especially if they block light from the necessary ones. Looking at what LA is doing with his flux to end all fluxes, it looks like he trims off the odd nodes on the main two branches (the 3rd node being topped and starting the 2 main branches). That's what I'm going to try and model this baby after for now...
