2nd Grow: Fruity Pebbles, Gorilla Zkittles, Peyote Critical & 3 More

Day 28 So my outdoor garden is just getting bigger and bigger, and I don’t think I’m done yet So I have grown from 5 to 7 plants from my last update. Will maybe plant another 1 or 2 in the coming week if we can find some room. Fruity Pebbles is really producing a strong skunk like smell when in close and has stretched a good 4-6 inches easily with the nicer warmer weather we had this week. My Black Sugars look like they are showing some new growth near the bottom on the stems, and the other is just getting bushier. My Cinderella 99 that was looking a bit beaten up, has started to stand tall on its own. No visible new growth, well maybe a slight bit taller but they aren’t dying either. Will probably add if we can 2 more Cinderella 99 since the family like the strain, well mostly my cousin, her husband, and a ton of her friends. So if I can have 4 plants between the outdoor grow and indoor one, I should have a healthy supply for a good while. So her are today’s pics, well yesterday’s pics really because it raining now.

Hey @EhCndGrower! I just read through your journal hard luck on the first round of plants, but we live and we learn! I Veg my plants on 24h lighting so I do not think that would of upset them.
New batch is looking great! You’ve got some awesome genetics. Loving the outdoor grow as well! I love growing indoors but outdoor growing is where it’s at

I have a giant white squirrel problem that needs to have an eye kept on

Day 153/73 Day 23 Flowering they are starting to show some good cola growth in the past few days. I even took out my old Viparspectra light to hang in the tent to cover the needed light for my much taller Black Sugar plant. With that covering the back of the tent, I was able to lower my Quantum Board about 6-7 inches closer to the smaller plant to really penetrate the canopy. Speaking of that, I will hopefully be able to do my 3 week defoliation tomorrow. Sort of got my Gorilla Zkittlez and Peyote Critical done today after work, and I’m off the next 3 days. Added B-52 back into my nutrient mix this week, and will be keeping all my nutrients at half the recommended strength. They just seem to respond better at that strength, and haven’t noticed any nutrient burn since. Gawd the suspense is killing me, and no Mr. Wonka. I don’t want it too last, and so I give you my updated pics

Day 32 FINALLY!!! We are getting some nice warm weather in Southern Ontario and the plants are responding. My Fruity Pebbles has taken off and I think has gained 6”+ since the last update. It now has parts of the plant taller then the tomato cage. My main Black Sugar plant is just starting to stretch upwards in the past 2 days, ain’t much but it’s happening. I thought I read that it was only to grow about a meter tall, but it’s 3 meters outside Plus I have 3 of them in total and so far they seem to be still breathing. My Cindy clones look weakish but are standing straight and I think one is showing new growth on the top with a little tiny stretch too. Gorilla Zkittlez I want so badly to work but the one clone looks kind of dead, but I took a new clipping and will hope for the best. I think I might be planting 2 more C99 clones this week or next, but I want to see a sturdier structure first. So with that I give you today’s pics, well at least for Fruity Pebbles pics. DAY 160/80 DAY 31 Flowering We’ll I had a little scare yesterday when I opened my tent after returning home from work. My tent temp had risen to 90F and all were showing clear signs of heat stress and were in desperate need of a drink. So I have decided to leave my Viparspectra light off for the remainder of the grow and raised my Quantum Board so it can cover the entire grow area. Temps are now down to 78F in the tent and the plants look happier because of it (watering might of helped too) I also took the tips off the main colas I think for most of plants and will see if they start to backbud for me soon. They all look like they are starting to put on some good weight and Gorilla Zkittlez, Peyote Critical, and Critical Orange Punch are looking very nice and frosty looking. So I might be week early but if I’m roughly a 8 week flowering frame (taking with a grain of salt that is true) and 2 weeks of flushing. I have added my A.N. Overdrive to my nutrient watering and will do so until the end of week 7. So we’re almost at the half way mark now and daddy is getting excited. So this will be a big update for the tent with plant and Bud pics over 2 posts and followed by my outdoor grow. So here are today’s tent pics

Day 42 and for some strains a little less.

So I said my outdoor garden would add a couple more plants and well it was a couple of couple plants. I’m at my limit and then some on what I’m hoping to get away, with neighbours beside me and to the townhouses that can easily see into our yard from their kitchen windows. I’m now sitting on 11 plants growing in the yard. Nothing from seed and all clones from my current tent grow. Sadly the clones seem to attract potato bugs like crazy and might be responsible for eating the leaves on one of my Gorilla Zkittlez clones (you’ll see in the pics) So I took my earth friendly silica powder and dusted the hell around all my plants, minus to the newbies that went in last night. Speaking of GZ, I can’t believe I came close to throwing one away because the leaves were dying and it just never rooted. Sure enough 2 days after my last updated post on it, the clone decided it wanted to live. Started to stand tall, rooted itself and is slowly starting to get a new set of leaves going. Still waiting on some of the others to catch up but that nice weather didn’t last long at all. I shouldn’t of been so happy last week as the past few days have been pretty meh, but my Raptors won and them mean Bruins lost. So it was still an overall great week personally. Fruity Pebbles is really busting out and upwards. The middle and left limbs are almost caught up to the overachieving right limb. One of my Black Sugar clones has put on the stretch in the past 3 days of maybe 2-3 inches and will be a fun one to watch over the coming weeks and months. DAY 166/86 FLOWERING DAY 37 Well I gave my plants a watering yesterday and today they all just seem to pack on some slight but noticeable weight. Also defoliated most of them over the past few days and they are responding nicely. So I think I’m roughly 3-4 weeks from harvest, and it’s driving me nuts knowing that I’m nearing the end to my tasty treats. (Yet still so far) Also bought myself a new digital microscope that I’m using to get some nice up close photos of my girls, as I lost my basic jewellers loop somewhere. Great photos but I need to use a stand I think to use it as it comes out of focus easily with my hand slightly moving. So with all my photos I shall spread the tents shoes over 2 posts and then followed by my outdoor update. So here are the first half of my tent photos

DAY 48 Stupid god damn bugs moved onto eating one of my C99 clones. Thankfully the leaves were going brown anyways and will be removed once the new growth happens. Speaking of brown, my one Black Sugar clone that is thriving all of of sudden started to go brown on the edges out of no where. They were green and lovely yesterday and today they look like shit and so I removed them mostly tonight when I found them. Trying to figure out how and might have an idea. We got a good soaking yesterday from Mother Nature and I’m using garden beds that my sister has been using for her vegetables. She lost a lot of her pepper plants in these few weeks and I think she over did it with her dried trifecta she planted with each plants and is now leaching to my girl. Will be keeping a close eye on her this weekend to see if it gets any worse. Not really any new exciting growth except that Black Sugar and my Fruity Pebbles. Man how I love that plant. It has a pretty skunky smell going for it and is about 3 feet tall now. I know I have said it before but the warm weather FINALLY looks like it is staying around. . . I even saw a humidex factor coming into play. So with that I hope that the clones will pick up the pace and finally grow to the monsters I know they can be. So here are today’s updated pics

Nothing really being used but a Silica Powder (reason for white on some of the plants) and Dill Weed growing around Fruity Pebbles and a Black Sugar. So far the Dill Weed seems to be working pretty great as a natural repellent. Need to maybe plant some near my other clones cause the bugs (as you can see) seem to love love my Gorilla Zkittlez and one of my C99 plants.

DAY 173/93 DAY 44 FLOWERING Just a couple more weeks, just a couple more weeks, just a couple more weeks. we are into week 7 of flowering and last week I notice my girls really start to pack on the weight and even though they swelled a bit today from yesterday. Next watering will be my last with nutrients and will only water with water and Blackstrap Molasses here and there. Started watering with cold water and have seen some of them start to change colour on me. Some show subtle colour changes and others like my Peyote Critical being a bit more obvious. I love seeing them change colours and hoping the more colourful Fruity Pebbles will show up in these final 2-3 weeks. Trying to bend some limbs and get some on my bigger Black Sugar stems a bit more light to produce some more solid buds near the bottom. If it doesn’t help I should still get a huge yield from what has been sprouting already. So again I will post pics over 2 posts of some plant and cola shot accompanying them. DAY 52/13 I didn’t lie last week, the warm weather is here and the plants are loving it. My Fruity Pebbles is roughly 42” tall, Black Sugar is over 12”, C99 are roughly 7” and my one Gorilla Zkittlez clone I almost threw away is about 6” tall. I still have a few that are struggling, but overall look healthy. I have a C99 that ain’t looking too great but hoping it will show some new life as the week goes on (will not load the picture of in this update) Although a few plants are showing me how tasty they are to whatever critters are roaming the garden. Will just have to keep an eye on things and hope they don’t get any worse. Hopefully they will stop munching on the leaves soon, but might need to get something better than my insect silica powder. Bought everyone a tomato cage in hopes that they will grow tall and bushy and warrant the purchase of the cage itself. So overall I am happy with the progress they are making and hope the ones that are sort of lagging behind eventually catch up. Now if I could only do something about the nosy neighbours that keep looking over my fence from their yards, or I could work on getting a medical marijuana card fast to warrant the 11 plants in my yard and the 8 in the tent. DAY 179/99 FLOWERING DAY 50 Well, one down and 7 more to go. Today I gave my Peyote Critical the chop. It was one frosty and sticky plant. I only got 150g off the plant, but they are a healthy looking set of buds. Sure it has a bit of popcorn bud but also a bunch of solid bigger buds. So I’m going to try the paper bag method for drying and hope they don’t mold on me. I did the bud wash before going into the bags, and they were surprisingly very clean with just a few dog hairs as floaters. Probably not the only plants that will be harvested this week either. I tend to think my Critical Orange Punch, Cinderella 99 and my Black Sugar could be coming down sometime this week. That Black Sugar plant will take me hours I think to cut and trim, and I’m happy with that. It should easily be my biggest yielding plant of anything I’ve have grown this grow and last. The leaves are either changing colour for good (purple) or going yellow. Tend to think after 27 weeks and at the size it is at, has become a slight bit root-bound. Hoping to push it a full week more but I might not have a choice at the rate they are yellowing on me. So next week might also be the time I make the final decision on what my next grow will consist of, and maybe even start getting the seeds growing under my sister’s little setup for her veggies. So far I have settled on Purple Urkle, Pineapple Chunk, Dr Seedsman CBD, Purple Bud, Do-Si-Dos and Chocolate Mint. Now the last 2 are a bit of a toss up between Blue Dream, Green Crack, Bruce Banger, MK Ultra x Bubble, Sweat Zombie and Darkstar. So many to choose from and so little room. Anyways here are my latest tent pics

DAY 61/19 Well I’m still in a wait and see on my one C99 clone but I think it is finally showing a sign life/growth. Still not showing a pic of yet to keep this in one post with my 10 picture limit. It has been an overall hot, hazy and sticky weather week, but they’re loving it. I had 5 clones I was waiting on rooting and sure enough they have. Now I have a friend who will be taking one and other three I plan to give out. That fifth plant? Sure what’s another plant to my grow going to do. I just don’t remember if I labeled it correctly or not, but I did seem to put Gelat.OG on the side of the container. So let’s just say it’s that going forward (don’t have a pic as it literally went in the ground like 30 minutes ago) Overall I’m happy with the progress everyone has made this week with 8 out of the 11 showing some nice progress. Even my one Gorilla Zkittlez that has been dormant in its stubby stature for weeks has started to stretch upwards. I guess it was getting tired of being eaten. Still have some worries over that C99 not being shown and 2 of my Black Sugar plants. One I think just needs a new spot with more light to feed off of, and the other hasn’t done anything growth wise. Although I have noticed, I think, new leaves starting to sprout at the top of it and hope that is a good sign of things to finally happen. So here are this week’s pics
