Plants looking great WD nice job on tying the ladies down, I'm really getting into this kinky stuff

It's alot of fun training them. I'm looking foward to growing one outdoors this summer. The smaller one in the second pic. I started her with one node and getting ready to top those branches now. She is small but should grow to 4x the size of the others if she doesn't get eaten by a deer. I'm hoping to grow a small tree with her.

Day 38
No change to environment or watering
for the plant I intent to grow outdoors this summer I started from a single node or two branches. She has now been topped giving me two nodes and four branches.

Shes alot smaller then the others after her excessive pruning. However this will eventually build not only stronger stems but the skeletal structure similar to a small tree I'm looking for.

I wanted to do something a little different with the 5th.
I'll continue topping and tying branches as she grows out. Hopefully she makes it.

Is it possible to cut the top.. too soon? And completely prevent that particular spot from further growth? I fear I may have done that with one of my babies ... a few places.. maybe even all of them.. all on the same plant ... I'm just waiting to see growth reform.

You can stunt the growth dramatically if you take too much too early. I saw your plants the other day. They look healthy. You should be ok.

after lst. 4 of the 5 are starting to look something like this.
Once they fill the 2x4 I'll up pot and move them to a 5x5

2x4 is almost filled up!

they will all be moved to a 5x5 in a few weeks

Most of the quads are similar in size to the plant shown above

heres the banana tree. I'll be topping all four branches soon. Producing 8.

For the soon to be outdoor specimen I decided to top after the second node until growth has established on the first. similar to fluxing

First feeding nutrient solution of 10ml ff grow big and 5ml bushdoctor cal-mag per 1.25 gallons will be applied next watering.

2x4 is now filled. They will go into a 5x5 in a few weeks.
