Aberration Goes Ker Bloom! - Perpetual

I accidentally crushed TDR.2C, so I no longer have any Tangerine Dream in veg. I have more seeds, so I'm not going to try and re-veg the one in bloom.

I transplanted everything in veg. All the clones in trays are now transplanted to straight coco mix. I put the three biggest veg girls in 9 gallon pots. They will go in as soon as they gain a little more size. Not much though.

The two Matanuskans got their last flush, as they come down Tuesday. Everyone else is humming along.

It looks like I might be able to stick to an every-3rd-day feed schedule for a while. Nice.

Those Thunderclucks are gorgeous! Nice plants and pics, Aberration. :thumb:

Thank you. The Matanuskans are harvested now. In 5-6 days I'll get to smoke fresh bud Matty again. Ahhhhh.

Man I wish I could open up my closet to THAT everyday ! :thumb:

It sure is something. Maybe a pound. Probably a bit less than that. 14 oz? We'll see.

WOW Abe! Truly beautiful! You knock it out of the park everythime :thumb: That is really great stuff!

So how long on average do your girls veg before you insert them into one of the flower spots. I know you typically like your 2 plant rotation, but just courious as to how long they go on average in veg. Thanks as always Abe!

Thanks. About 2.5 - 3 months on average from cutting, through rooting and veg. I put them in based on size normally. About 24-36", but I'm dialing that back as the 3' plants become difficult to manage monsters in bloom,

Yea bro, exactly!! McLovin the nug & bud porn. Yesssssss!!

What do you think of the new backgrounds? I was in a craft shop with a family member and stumbled on sheets of foam in a bunch of colors. It's saturated and matte. With better lighting I think it could make for fab backdrops to closeup shots.

:peace:

I like the idea. Somethin to play with until u can find the perfect complimentary color combination to have a nice contrast to bring out the color of ur buds. I really like the pic with the light blue background. Love the contrast.

I bought some construction paper in multi-color packs as well. I'm experimenting. The right background helps a lot.

What purple strain is the dark?

Hehe. Every one of the pictures in that set is from the same two plants, themselves clones from the same mother. That is the Matanuskan Thunderfu@k. The blue background does show the plant off quite well. The orange is interesting, but my eye is pulled to the orange and not the bud. I like the yellow. There are many more options to try.

I need some decent lighting too. A single 4' shop light 5' overhead is not really optimal. ;)

Everybody gets fed tonight. I see calcium deficiency hints in bloom, and the White Widow is showing it strongly, so I doubled up on the cal-mag for all of bloom tonight.

How long do u spend preparing ur nute regimen before u feed? How long does it take to get the desired PH and PPMs?

It takes forever. Of course the first hour or so I'm usually smoking a doobie and surfing the forums, so nothing gets done at all. Then I 'come to my senses' and get busy. Once I really get started it usually takes 60-90 minutes. Getting the ppm right is a breeze, because I have a set of recipes I have developed that I follow, and then most of the time I only measure ppm; I rarely adjust it, and then only when it comes out uber-strong. Adjusting pH is a long process though. With 5-7 different mixtures to balance it takes a loooong time to get them all where I want them.

I'm pretty slow. I'm usually pretty baked by the time I get started though, so I'm going to blame it on the devil weed.
