C-LOJ Back With Another COCO Grow!

Update...1 Week flower:

Ok, so not too much to say. The girls have been under 12/12 for a week and are starting to show the first signs of flowers, and all the tips are starting to form little clusters of pistils. They are also starting into the stretch. Most of the girls grew 6-7 in this last week.
Also, my breddah that supplied me with the clones came by for a visit a few nights ago, and brought a sample of the LA Cheese that he just harvested a week or so ago. Very very nice! It has really got me looking forward to seeing how mine finish up compared to his.. Can't wait!

Girls are looking healthy con how longs your estimated time for flowering 8-9 weeks?

Thanks Crower! Yea, the 5 PorkHammers are suppost to finish up in about 8 weeks, and the 3 LA Cheese are supposed to be a little quicker at 6.5 - 7 weeks.

Nice carpentry, casters are cool. Ventilation is obviously well managed, your crop is beautiful.

Cut and stick ample now, those jumping girls will never miss a few loose ends. I get roots & survival nearly 100% with no-fuss technique.
I cut a 3 or 4" end, trim bottom leaves & sprout, lightly scrape the end just a little, dip and stick it into coco coir. I use 3.5" sq pots, 18 to a tray under T8s or cfls, open-air shelf, and that's it. Week or ten days later, feed them for the new growth that is starting. No misting ever, and no humidity cover. As long as they stand turgid, they are up-taking adequate water. I use big-city tap water with the coir to clone, and a little Dyna-Gro KLN. Diluted, and only a dip before sticking. No gel, no powder

Your box is going to be stuffed, C-LOJ. Nice 4X box w/ 600 and good air. Good DNA

I am definitely going to give your advise a try with the next cuttings I take. I just want to keep it simple. No aerocloners or fancy BS. Just cuttings straight into the coco medium!

Hey AB! Thanks for stopping by! That pic is of one of my PorkHammers...a locally bred strain up in WA. I believe they are 50/50 indica/sativa. Can't wait 'till they're done!

July 4th Update! ....

Here are a few pics I snapped earlier today. The girls in the flower cab have been on 12/12 for 13 days and are progressing nicely. Lots of stretch and budsites are starting to form. I love watching them change daily through this flowering process! Such a beautiful thing...a miracle!
Also, the Orange Bud, Wowie, and Grapefruit mothers are looking great. I should be able to take some cuttings from them really soon for the next batch.

Can you tell me a little bit more about your Defoliation technique? When I try to research the subject I just find lots of conflicting theories and debates about whether or not to do it..instead of how to do it.

I am open to giving it a shot, as I've heard that it can help get more light to all budsites. Is it just a matter of removing big fan leaves?

I remove all the large fans all the way around and it certainly doesn't seem to hurt my bud production. Check out my SOG journal and you'll see pictures from defoliation sessions.

Defoliate one of them and then compare it's yield to the others at the end and I bet you'll like what you see.
