CO Finest Main Flower Room LED Grows

[CO Finest]

Main lower room is doing outstanding. It now has the veg room plants in it as well while I am working on the new veg room. I need to move veg plants real soon so I can flip to 12/12 asap.

My two 144x5 are here. I am going to put them where the mars 1600 was and move the 192 over to the left side.

My Crees showed up and I am about to setup the tent for all five of them and the IFR light real soon

Hey CO your the man. Been a lurker for awhile, literally joined 420 because of you. Been growing DWC w/ sprayers awhile. Bought 4 1600's. Kind of wish I bough the lengthened panels you have, those 144's look nice. Do you find you are only able to grow one monster with the led's because of the small foot print. Or is that just your preference? My lights are only maybe 14" away lol. Temps are good, so only minor bleaching on a couple tips. Do you think its possible to fit more plants under one 1600? I used to fit 6 plants under 1000w semi comfortably. Was kind of hoping for the same results, since mars says they are equivalent to a 1600w hps. I think they are alot closer to a 600w. Any chance you could compare an hps/mh 1000w/600w to the 1600 and the 144, or do you know the numbers off hand. Wish i had a PAR meter. I assume the spread of light is terrible, from what ive seen if its not directly underneath the light the yield suffers terribly. Not sure the 300w savings is worth it. Atleast so far on my first grow with them

Hello 420 mag. Its been a long time. Sorry I had to work and move a lot of things around in my grow. I got my main flower room flipped to 12/12. It is around two weeks in flower. Starting to get them nice flowers building.

I also got my veg room moved. Its not done but rez and plants are moved.

I took that 5x5 down in the last pic I showed. Now I have my Mars Hydro 4x4 with my Cree leds setup. Almost done setting up the timers and getting ready to put a plant in.

I will have more soon. Just getting caught up on some post. I appreciate all of you for taking your time and stopping by my grows.

Nice to see you on 420 mag. First off thank you for taking your time to follow some of my grows I appreciate that. I grow big plants to get big yields from nice old plants just like I did outdoors. The taste,smell and yield is worth it to me but I am not a cash cropper. I could grow small plants faster and yield about the same but no need for me to do that and lack what I want from each plant. I have a big plant perpetual growing. Now the LEDS and different lens for light spread and the higher they are the bigger foot print just have to have the power to go high. Now I will have to say I still would take my 144's over any other Mars just for the light foot print and I am loving the 144x5 so far. As far as more plants for 1600 I say as many as you want just keep the 1600 for the 5x5 area to keep the right amount of par needed. Ok I think I might have to put a 1k hps, two 144x5,mars1600 all in a grow soon but for now I am switching most of my lights to Cree's. I will be buying a few for veg room as well next month. i will tell you on your first grow it may be down some numbers. Getting use to growing with led takes a little time. Cal/mag and other nutes extra that can be added. I will also have to say growing with a net is key to best yields. It is the only way to use every bit of light equal to the colas. Just a little update. Just got done doing some transplants. I did not have enough soil for three but got the rest done. Will be putting one of the fruit spirits in the 4x4 with the Cree LED light very soon. Just a little more light proofing to do and I have to put a light in the for a little veg time. My Crees are flower only.

The flower room has took off making all kinds of colas. It is in week three. They already have a very nice amount of sugar going.

Quick update. The veg room is coming along. Plants are starting to fill in. Getting ready to get four of them into there P scrogs.

My flower room is in full bloom at week four and ready to fill in them colas nice and fat.

Now I got my P scrogs in and got plants in them

Now all four into the Mars 4x4 with them Cree lights. For now I am going to use a full spectrum light for about two weeks to get them to fill net the way I want then flipping over to the five crees and one ifr light.

I absolutely love them man! No heat issues, perfect light coverage, I'll def order possibly 3 of the 128s to fill out the flower tent 100% and move this bad boy into a smaller 3.5x3.5 to grow autos only

Thank you for your reply. I have had my eye on them for awhile now. The stars and crees must have the same good cooling system. My star runs with no real heat as well. I would like to p.a.r test them side by side one day. I am looking to change all my lights to Crees very soon. Your input helps thank you.

One thing I just noticed today. My power went out for 10 mins, but it was during lights off so I thought no biggie. Till the power came back on and my light turned back to default and was on full blast. I kinda had a feeling that would happen, but say i'm at work or something when it happens next time. I don't know if theres a way to fix this?

I may go for the other models without the remote control just to put my mind at ease.
