These pictures are from the first day my seeds was put inside the soil (after they sprouted)
I wrapped the pots in plastic and made a few small holes on the top of the plastic and sealed the plastic around the pot so it becomes humid.

Before planting the seeds I watered the pots and made sure to let any excessive water run out.

Temperature :
The humidity is low, around 25 % inside the grow room
and the temperature is around 22-25 celcius.

I'm buying a humidifier to increase the humidity inside the room as its way to low

Nutrition :
I haven't bought any nutrients yet, im planning on buying it and adding it when I change pots to the larger ones (3.75 litres).

I am planning on vegging the plants until they reach about 30 cm
and then turn the 12 / 12 light cycle.

They are currently on 24 hours light, I will switch to 18/6 after I've changed to the larger pots.

I will keep posting pictures every few days and report my progress, feel free to give me advice along the way and ask questions etc...

thanks !

Day 4

Temp : 25.3 celsius
Humidity: 25/26 %

baby cheese :)

As soon as they "breached" the soil, I removed the plastic covering the pots,
somehow I think that halted the growth.

I placed a humidifier in there to increase the humidity as its waaaaay to low, but nothing seems to help, any ideas? Should I cover the containers in plastic again?

Nutrients :

I've bought nutrients now, I decided to go with the Biobizz -grow and bloom solutions,

I am going to start feeding 1 ml of both grow and bloom to a litre of water once im at the 12/12.

At about week 2 of flowering Im changing the mix to 1 ml grow and 2 ml bloom per litre.

At week 3 [21 days] a one off feed of a heaped table spoon of epsom salts per 10 litres and im adding to that 1 ml of grow and 2 ml of bloom.

Round the 4 week mark, the mix is 1ml gr and 3 ml bl.

Once I start to see browning of pistils, im changing to 2 ml gr and 1 ml bl and keeping with that till the end, or at least 1 week or two before harvest.

What do you think? Any better ideas? feeding recommendations? What would you do right now in my situation with these plants?

HempRocket ;) cool man .. hang on to your seat, cuz hopefully we're going for a ride ...

Anyways .. Day 6 now not much have happened, I've tried a few methods to raise the humidity, ..boiling water inside the room for a while etc... well the humidity won't stay raised and my humidifer sucks ...

One of my vanilla kush seeds had a really rough time breaching the soil since the soil was too tightly packed and not airy / fluffy ... I had to help it on its way up by digging in the soil .. well now that poor baby looks a bit retarded :/

Anon ;) thanks .. I'm looking forward to it :) too bad I can't share a pipe with you guys :/

btw ...an off topic question, me and a couple of friends are coming to honolulu in late june / early july do you have or know of any good spots for learning to surf, clubs, hostels etc.. ?

Hi Dave,

Depends on what you are looking for. The North shore is always a popular spot to surf. Have you been here before? if so then the best advise I have is to stay far away from Wikiki its a tourist trap and high priced. As for clubs if you tell me what type of music and vibe you like I am sure I can line you up. Talk with you soon....good luck on the grow I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

I would PM you but i guess I don't have enough post count yet. Just hit me up here or on my thread.

Hey Anon. thanks for the quick response.

I never been to Hawaii, but I'm sure that it will be a great experience going there. As for music, mostly club type music, house, r&b, hihhop, etc.. whatever they play at the packed clubs :Rasta:

A quick update on my girls ...

This is day 8, the current temp is between : 21 -25 celsius, the humidity is somewhere between 25 - 32 % (which imo is low).

One of my vanilla kush seeds have had a rough time and is apparently experiencing some sort of nutrition overload or over feeding or something (hence the yellow leaves).. I don't know what the problem is with this one, any ideas on what is causing the yellow leaves guys ??

The Cheese and the other vanilla kush is doing well I guess,

I don't water them too often, usually once every other day or so.
I switch their positions once a day so they get light from all of the angles possible.

There is no nutes in the soil and im planning on changing the pots to larger ones on the third week and changing the soil to one with nutes in it.

This is the start of the second week and I have switched the lights from 24/0 to 20/4.

Next week im switching again to 18/6 then -> 16/8 -> 14/10 -> 12 / 12

Thats all for now folks... until next time ..

:hookah:

Its been a couple of days since my last update... they are on Day 11 now, and today I decided to mist them a little bit with some water mixed with some carbonated water.

And thanks to the tip Anonymous, I managed to raise the humidity up to between 35 - 45 % now that I have a wet cloth hanging inside there. Somehow the temp went up as well, its about 24-26 celsius now.

Here are the pics, Day 11, enjoy

ok ... Day 19 . (almost 3 weeks veg)

temp : 20-24 celsius
humidity: 28-40 %
Light schedule : 18 / 6

moved them into bigger pots as I felt that the roots had grown so much that the pots just wasn't big enough for them.

This soil has a little bit of nutes in it and that should be fine for the first 2 weeks, when im on week 5 of veg Iam going to start adding bioblizz growth and bloom nutes.

by then my light schedule would be something like 14/10 and almost ready for the flowering phase.

Im thinking of starting to low stress train them soon ..well they arent that "tall" right now anyways .. maybe a couple of inches at most.

here are the pics ...

also

my vanilla kush plant, have a yellow leaf. what could be causing this? low ph? (its the same soil in all pots, the other ones dont show any signs of lack of ph ... lack of N ? I'll experiment adding a very small amount of nitro nute to the plant next watering just to see the results.
